She loves to share her passion and knowledge about tile. I fell in love with her tiles the first time I saw them and immediately started imagining my dream kitchen. I bought a 1700's farm house in mid coast Maine and I finally have the opportunity to incorporate her tiles in my home. I am not a professional photographer so the photos are a bit bright but you can see how versatile these gorgeous tiles are. They really are timeless and they compliment any decor. The sun washed colours are beautiful and I think they look so nice with the granite countertops and the soapstone sink.These tiles are very strong and durable I dropped one and not even a chip! I used a tile cutter to cut some to fit in some odd spaces they cut fine though because they are so strong and hard I took it slow.They do cut nicely! I added some marble tiles as an accent. I did the work myself after purchasing the tiles and I am delighted with the results! My new kitchen is my favourite room in the house. She is a true artist who loves her work, and is simply a joy to be near. > > The first project was a multi-hued pet shower in the back entry to our home from the attached New England barn. The soft and warm tones of these patchwork tiles is so calming and makes us smile. Deborah's sense of color and scale makes this space so comforting. Attached is a photo from right after installation and before plumbing fixtures (I will insert a finished update soon). > > The second project is a beautiful floral mosaic, installed as a kitchen stove backsplash. In the center of the tilework is the name of our farm, which we call the Jordan Hill Farm (named after the original homesteader Hill, and my wife's parents, the Jordans). We absolutely love this focal point, which unifies the color palette of our kitchen, draws on the berries surrounding us and the history preceding us, and literally personalizes our home by name.
