Cabinets can be wood or painted, there are multiple door styles, and then there's all the choices & finishes of door/drawer pulls! There are SOOOO many options....frankly the process can be overwhelming. Make time to do your homework before you sit down with a designer. You'll be a lot more confident about the end result when you provide examples of what you like. Also think about how you really use your kitchen....you love to bake, or entertain, or it's just you and your husband.
