Her keen eye and great style sensibility make every space warm and beautiful. I've worked with many interior professionals and she's definitely one of the best. **★★★★★ — Kate Jackson, Dec. 2015** > Union of Art's Tamarra Younis has helped make our modern, concrete, potentially cold feeling house a warm, charming and inviting home. Her incredible eye has managed to seamlessly marry bohemian and midcentury modern. Without fail, anyone who steps foot inside comments on our home's lovely interior design and the mix of one-of-a-kind antique rings with contemporary comforts. In the six years we have lived here Tamarra has helped us reimagine spaces to accommodate our changing family needs, whether creating a mother-in-law suite in our guest house, or making a spare bedroom into a unique and magical nursery. I would highly recommend Tamarra and Union of Art to anyone who wants a beautiful home that is NOT cookie cutter. **★★★★★ — jenstan1, Sept. 2015** > Tamarra has great taste. More importantly, she respects her client's taste and helps bring it to life in a tasteful, modern way. She is generous with her time and fairly priced. She is warm and friendly, talented and knowledgable. I continue to use her and would recommend her in a heartbeat. **★★★★★ — lucky8772, Aug. 2015** > Tamarra is creative, professional and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend her and her contractor Abi for any and all home design and remodeling needs. **★★★★★ — ethanjake1, Aug. 2015** > I can't recommend Tamarra highly enough. She transformed my home from an old, dark, 1950s style house into a beautiful breezy modern house. Three of my friends have hired Tamarra after seeing the transformation. I've now worked with Tamarra on several projects and she is so lovely to work with. She has great vision & I trust her opinion so much that I find that I want to include her on all home decisions big & small. Tamarra is not only a great interior designer but also a wonderful person. I have not experienced one moment that I haven't enjoyed with her in more than two years. She goes out of her way & her product is so important to her. I truly adore her. She is the best of the best! ## Selected projects - [Blairwood: Studio City Upstairs Addition](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/blairwood-studio-city-upstairs-addition-pj-vj~6091442) - Location: Los Angeles, CA - Photos: 31 - Description: Addition of second story to pre-existing home including a guest room with en-suite bathroom, home office, and living/ game room - [Blairwood: Studio City Main House](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/blairwood-studio-city-main-house-pj-vj~5961718) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 30 - Description: Interior Design of full home in Studio City including, entryway, formal living room, master bedroom and ensuite bathroom, children's rooms, guest room, family room, kitchen, and dining room - [Studio City: Midcentury Modern Nursery](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/studio-city-midcentury-modern-nursery-pj-vj~2698054) - Location: Los Angeles, CA - Photos: 7 - Description: Interior Design converting guest room into nursery including custom made furniture. - [Studio City: Boho Modern Guest Room](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/studio-city-boho-modern-guest-room-pj-vj~1270980) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 9 - Description: Interior design for guest room in Studio City - [Studio City: Guest House](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/studio-city-guest-house-pj-vj~1232444) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 5 - Description: Guest House Design and Renovation including kitchen, living room, bedroom and en-suite - [Manhattan Beach: Full Home Renovation](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/manhattan-beach-full-home-renovation-pj-vj~2687458) - Location: Los Angeles, CA - Photos: 36 - Description: Renovation of single family home in Manhattan Beach, CA including Open floor plan kitchen and living room, dining room, formal living room with built-in bar, master bedroom and ensuite bathroom, kids rooms, and game room. - [Manhattan Beach: Home Renovation](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/manhattan-beach-home-renovation-pj-vj~6398183) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 15 - [Buena Park: Studio City Home Renovation](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/buena-park-studio-city-home-renovation-pj-vj~6398153) - Location: Los Angeles, CA - Photos: 18 - [El Segundo Dermatology](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/el-segundo-dermatology-pj-vj~5961633) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 16 - Description: Interior design of Dermatology Office in El Segundo - [Darby Studios](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/darby-studios-pj-vj~6398216) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 21 - [Studio City: Garage Conversion Guest House](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/studio-city-garage-conversion-guest-house-pj-vj~5961670) - Location: Los Angeles, CA - Photos: 9 - Description: Converted existing garage building into guest house and home office with en-suite bathroom and kitchen - [Studio City: Colorful Modern Bungalow](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/studio-city-colorful-modern-bungalow-pj-vj~2687405) - Location: Los Angeles, CA - Photos: 19 - Description: Interior design and consultation for Studio City Bungalow including living room, kitchen, guest room, master bedroom and ensuite. - [Studio City: Full Home Renovation](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/studio-city-full-home-renovation-pj-vj~5961653) - Location: Los Angeles, CA - Photos: 17 - Description: Interior design of Studio City Bungalow including living room, kitchen, dining room, master bedroom and ensuite, guest room and ensuite. - [BLAIRWOOD](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/blairwood-pj-vj~6322362) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 23 [See all 14 projects](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/interior-designers-and-decorators/union-of-art-inc-pfvwus-pf~563623851) ## Ideabooks - [Wish List](https://www.houzz.com/ideabooks/169783095/list/wish-list) — 1 idea - [SAIKI / BASEMENT (SUNKEN LOUNGE)](https://www.houzz.com/ideabooks/129992420/list/saiki-basement-sunken-lounge) — 8 ideas - [SAIKI/ BASEMENT (BAR)](https://www.houzz.com/ideabooks/129852066/list/saiki-basement-bar) — 7 ideas - [My little house](https://www.houzz.com/ideabooks/58098805/list/my-little-house) — 1 idea - [Stanley - Drapes](https://www.houzz.com/ideabooks/56288468/list/stanley-drapes) — 20 ideas [See all 5 ideabooks](https://www.houzz.com/ideabooks/users/union-of_art) --- *Source: Houzz professional profile.
