I had about 4-7 contractors come to home before finally calling Tim, he came the same day, we walked through the entire house, he was able to give me ideas that I didn't even think of like opening walls. His estimate was fair and so we immediately signed a contract with him. He was always available by phone to answer any questions, even going with my husband and I to pick out marble, and counter tops. Not once did we feel like we were working with a contractor, considering they sometimes have a bad name. He became more of a partner in making our first home that we fell in love with, to become a house that we now absolutely love. I would also like to say that his workers were a pleasure, always on time, always cleaned up after they were done for the day, and always communicated with my husband & I if we had any questions regarding how long something will take. > > For now they have completed a full kitchen renovation, 4 bathrooms, and we're currently looking into finishing the original hardwood floors. **★★★★★ — ginozan77, June 2017** > I recently moved to south Florida with my husband from Minnesota, we bought our unit at the Paramount and we're not familiar with construction companies even though we had remodel our previous homes. > We were referred by another resident who had a remodeled and used a general contractor who seemed at first honest and professional but not the case here! My husband and I were not planning to make a big change it was a simple project, few doors, couple of vanities, closets, general painting and balcony marble. Long story short the general contractor we hired three not have the right license to install exterior marble and thats when all problems started. We didn't know it required a series of inspections and the job was delayed but we were hoping that everything else was going to be done while we waited and it took a few months just to get some doors white lacquer, closet colored was also ordered wrong and it was delayed, then the general contractor told us he had to pull his contract out do to permits and was paid in full so he recomended someone else that was a general contractor and was also doing work in the building, that was another mistake the company that came after was so busy they took 30% of our money and it tooked them 1 month to even start the balconies > Not to mention after they pass a Weather proof inspection and we're ready to do the job they were the most unprofessional company we have ever dealt with! The workers were rude and messy and they destroyed a few things in the apartment. At this point my husband was too busy at work and we were being consumed by the situation and was ready to pull the plug. We then decided to maybe put the unit on the market as it was. > Fortunate enough we met a realtor around the area that was familiar with construction and through him we met CBDI > When they came to view the condition of the apartment they suggest it two things > Either move until we complete the renovation, or set a date where they can have a few weeks until the apartment was livable which is what we did because of change of contract and Permit > This process took a month they got all the permits in order and we're ready to start the completion of the project. This was in December so my husband and I decided to take two weeks vacation, and truthfully this could have not been a better idea, they sent us pictures and reports of every day work > But when we came back they had 80% of the work done in the unit including closets and rooms painted and truthfully we were expecting 40% I truthfully recommend this company 100% to do your remodel. They are amazing people, professional and not to mention the detail work is incredible. Don't hesitate to contact them Believe me it was worth the wait.
