> I obtained 5 different quotes from contractors and people that did not have licenses, and I was quite surprised when Gruber came out to be the cheapest.  I expected them to be the most expensive, but wow, was I wrong.
> From dealing with Peter (the original point of contact), to Ivan (the painting supervisor) and Fernando (the main painter who was also on site and totally approachable), I can honestly recommend them to my friends and family with no hesitation.  They addressed all my questions and concerns in a timely fashion. > I am the daughter of parents who owned a paint and wallpaper store for over 25 years. I was raised around paint and know when someone knows their stuff. My husband and I hired Gruber Painting to paint the exterior of our home after interviewing 3 other contractors. Joel's professionalism and knowledge stood out head and shoulders above the other contracts, including one company that is a very large national contractor. We cannot say enough about Joel and the his wonderful employees. From the color consultation, which was wonderful, Joel really knows his paint and colors, to the finished product, the job was done perfectly. They power washed the entire home, replaced molded window casings and used the highest quality paint. They pay attention to every detail and strive for complete customer satisfaction. We then asked them to paint the interior of our home. This required a herculean effort, furniture needed to moved, hardwood floors and carpet protected, etc. Joel and Stephanie recommended accent walls, repainted a mantel that was cracking from the heat, touched up our wooden cabinet, which now look like new, and worked with us to create an entirely new look to our home. What can we say, except that our home was transformed. Joel and his team are wonderful people to work with and we highly recommend them to anyone who wants top quality professional painting done.
