## About

Kayla joined the team at Ethan Allen in 2017 following a career in theatrical design. She graduated Boston University with a BFA in Scenic Design and has designed performances in both the Boston area and New York City.  

Kayla's love for space, color, and texture have carried over into her interior design approach. She has always been passionate about designing to tell a story and has enjoyed the opportunity to create spaces that are unique to each client. She enjoys working together with clients to create spaces that have a sense of permanence and functionality—without sacrificing style.

> Kayla Rushing provided excellent design assistance to us when we were choosing a living room swivel chair and 6 dining room chairs. Our job was a bit difficult as we had patterned rugs and living room furniture. We went with her choices and we have been very happy we did so. The chairs blend well with our existing décor are are so comfortable!
