What a HUGE and COSTLY mistake we made. > We gave Sarah, from GO Architectural Design complete architectural freedom to help design our forever home based on our design criteria which was specified on her designated form. We also sadly learned through this process, that her preferred communication is via email which is exceedingly problematic, and has been proven to be inefficient and extremely costly to us, as a consumer, when designing a custom home. > After over SIX THOUSAND dollars ($6,000) of her "billed time” as well as over the course of more than 8 months, she failed to deliver ANYTHING close to what we wanted nor put any real thought into the function or flow of the home. One would think that is the primary function of an AIA accredited architect. We were completely astonished as she constantly blamed us, the consumer, for her failures - going so far to belittle my spouse on several occasions.
