A: Counter is Cesarstone - eggshell. Backsplash is a 2.5x5 with a crackle glaze called Rixi. I highly recommend Cesarstone over competitors. The back up their quality product and I was able to source it equivalent priced from an installer who stocks it. **Q: Love the bathroom!** *(in Photo Questions)* I want to order a bathroom vanity online however I'm leary. Is this from the kitchen bath collection? Were you happy with the quality as it's a really good price. By the way love the bathoom!! Thank you. A: Sorry this is a late reply. Yes it is kit and bath collection. I am happy with it. There is some slight cracking of the paint on the shaker drawer fronts where the paint was applied heavily, but not to noticeable. The sink is good as well as the countertop. The faucet they sent with it was terrible. **Q: Are you pleased with the quality of Martha Steward Kitchens** *(in Photo Questions)* I am thinking of putting in a Martha Stewart Shaker kitchen, do you have any advice to offer, thank you. A: I asked this very question to my client when starting another project. She said she was happy with the cabinets and the quality, except for the cabinets at the kitchen sink. She said since they are made with particle board, they have had some water damage at the sink area. You could ask to upgrade to real wood for the sink cabinet only to solve that. For my next project (in which I will be posting images soon) we priced out Martha Stewart cabinets thru Home Depot, but ended up getting a better price with all our design upgrades (like book case, glass doors and lots of pot drawers) thru a custom cabinet maker! "Off the shelf" cabinets can be a money saver, but if you want any add-ons - special hardware, moulding, bookcases, wine rack, taller cabinets etc; the price escalates substantially very quickly. I suggest you also find a (not too fancy) local cabinet maker (possibly on Houzz?) or two to price your job, you might be surprised like I was what you can get for the same price. **Q: Kitchen sink not by window** *(in Design Dilemma)* I know the kitchen is almost always under a window. However our kitchen has one tall window that starts close to the floor. The sink is now next to the window, but appears squashed. Any suggestions? Move it to an inner wall, treatments? A: You could investigate removing the small return next to the window and adding a 6'-0" x 3'-0" island to the kitchen in it's place (if this is not the only space for a table in the house) bar seating would be facing the stove. The sink and dishwasher would be on the island facing the desk. I think this would be the best option for connivence seating and resale. If that won't work for you, I think the sink and dishwasher on the door wall (dishwasher close to the door and sink beside. If you were going with this configuration you could put the fridge and freezers next to the stove as shown in a comment above, or in the cabinet corner near the window. Also consider getting a full height fridge/freezer unit and doing this layout: starting next to the door - Fridge 30" then dishwasher 24", then sink 36". I think that might fill up that top run and you can keep the stove in the same location and make a nice work triangle. Or do a corner sink instead of a straight run (tho less of a modern look, it maybe more functional). I as long as you can get to the plumbing relatively easily, the cost of moving the sink and dishwasher would make this a much better space. **Q: Are the cabinets in this photo the Martha Stewart Ox Hill cabinets? Also are they they Ocean Floor Color?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: The style is Ox Hill, color Beach Sand (grey green) **Q: how can i make design on wall** *(in Photo Questions)* i want to paint my wall with pettern A: This is a very easy design accomplished with masking tape. 1\. With masking tape create equal vertical sections running floor to ceiling. I made 6 sections. 2\. With pencil mark every 12 inches down the tape line starting at the ceiling. 3\. Then starting at one pencil mark tape up the the next highest pencil mark at the next vertical piece of tape. Then from there tape down to the next lowest making a zig-zag up and down. 4\. Repeat at every level. 5\. Once taped, place tiny 1" pieces of tape in every other section where you want the wall color to show thru. 6\. Paint the sections that do not have tape. 7.Let dry; remove tape and enjoy.
