> Years ago Patti helped us pick out window blinds and a versa-glide for our new home. She continues to be an excellent resource today when we just need a simple clip replacement for our 16 year old window coverings from Hunter Douglas. One of the best decisions we ever made when it comes to our home and will use her again as we remodel. Customer service is her super power!!

**Comment from Walls too Windows, Interior Design:**

> Oh thank you for the kind words. My main goal is the satisfaction of my clients

**★★★★★ — Lisa Spiegel, Dec. 2018**

> Patti and her amazing team completed my kitchen remodel on schedule, on budget, on target. My new kitchen is more beautiful than I could ever have dreamed possible and it is due to Patti's knowledge, experience, relationships, professionalism, attention to detail, and superior project management.

> Patti has done 2 large remodel projects for us, design through build. This included a laundry room and a high end master suite. She is very practical & efficient, working within your budget to achieve the best quality. Patti’s team of specialty contractors is top notch & professional. Any issues were resolved quickly without hassle. Patti is an excellent project manager & a must for any successful remodeling project you do. It was the first project we did that was actually fun!

**★★★★★ — Chris Parks, Aug. 2017**

> Patti is a general contractor as well as an interior designer. Our challenge was space utilization in a hall bath and master bath. Her ideas regarding design and materials were spot on. Her team's execution was flawless. Patti's professionalism and how she works with her top-notch subs was key to having both projects completed on time and on budget. I highly recommend Patti Marvitz of Wall too Windows.

**★★★★★ — Samantha Burnside, May 2017**

> I hired Patti to take over our kitchen/downstairs remodel in month two of the project because our first contractor was having trouble manning the job. Patti took the floundering project and within one day had a full schedule penciled out so we could see what work would be done next and when. We still needed our kitchen ceiling torn out, new drywall hung, tape and textured, paint, a lighting plan and fixtures, lots of electrical and plumbing work etc. Patti put together a schedule and had our project completed within 6 weeks. The truly impressive part was that because she was taking over the job from our previous contractor, where we had been left with an empty shell of a kitchen and no work done for several weeks, she was able to pull all of her subcontractors together and make sure they all fit us in to their already jam-packed schedules. It was truly amazing and we will forever be grateful. I highly recommend Patti for any design/remodel project you may have. She has the knowledge, the skills and the relationships.

> I worked with Patti Marvitz of Walls too Windows spanning a period of 2 years to renovate my kitchen, 3 bathrooms, the foyer stairs and handrail as well as general updating throughout the rest of the house. When my home was exhibited during the 2013 Tour of Remodeled Homes sponsored by the BIAW in Clark County, it was voted "Best Overall Design". Patti has solid design experience and her end product is one of beauty, peace, and amazing design. During our time together, she was so much fun to work with, was always accessible, and diligent in her paperwork and followup on any outstanding items. It seemed we were always on the same page as far as vision went, but she would ask for my input and explained to me why she would lean a certain way. My backyard was done in an asian style and when she started working with me, she felt that the interior of the house had to "marry" to exterior. So we went with a slight asian style that is calming and tasteful.
> She has developed a long and excellent working relationship with a group of subcontractors who are the best at their trade. They are a joy to have around; each one very courteous and people oriented and who do beautiful work.
> Specific tasks performed by Patti:
> 1\) Established scope and worked with client to establish budget.
> 2\) Defined interior concepts (client's design preferences and requirements);
> 3\) Identified materials for hard surfaces/ceiling treatments/ lighting/ window coverings/ plumbing fixtures/ wall treatments);
> 4\) Identified CAPS (certified aging in place-universal design) concepts;
> 5\) Identified energy conservation products and ideas;
> 6\) Assisted with lighting plan;
> 7\) Worked with architect in the design of 2nd floor balcony off of master bedroom;
> 8\) Review and assist with kitchen/bath cabinet layout.
> 9\) Met with and/or scheduled contractors and installers for estimates; Organized subcontractors' and installers' work to determine whether the work was proceeding as directed;

> Patti and her team did a superb job updating our house to go on the market. She's experienced and knowledgeable. As a designer, she provided expert guidance with color and material choices, and as a contractor, she moved our project along in a timely manner. Every one of her subs did excellent work (and were nice to have around!), and I would recommend Walls too Windows on their work alone. As a result of Patti and her team's excellent work, we sold our house for the price we wanted!

> I have worked with Patti from Walls Too Windows for over 15 years now, and the many projects we have worked togeather on has been a real joy and learning experience. I continue to be a part of her team as she expands her business in more challenging areas. She is on the cutting-edge of today and tomorrow's vision for her profession.

**★★★★ — bradabeson, Feb. 2014**

> We are still in the construction phase but the entire team has been very conscientious and considerate. They have shown outstanding attention to detail and seem to take great pride in doing a first class job. We did not have any idea about what we were doing and they have been able to guide us through this process and we are very excited to see and enjoy for many years the finished product.

**★★★★★ — American Marble & Granite, Feb. 2014**

> We have worked with Patti on many jobs, we find her attention to detail and ease to work with a \*win-win\*. We would recommend Patti and her services to anyone interested in remodeling or if you need any decorating services. Ellen Varsek- American Marble and Granite

## Community Q&A

**Q: where can we purchase this vanity?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Nice vanity. Is there a link to purchase it?

A: It was custom made.

**Q: Paint Color** *(in Photo Questions)*

This is a beautiful bathroom. Do you recall what paint color you used on the walls? Thank you

A: Yes it was a Miller paint product. Called Sand. One of my “go to” favorites. Goes wonderfully with travertine finishres

**Q: where to place toilet paper holder ?** *(in Photo Questions)*

P

A: The TP holder was mounted to the side of this cabinet, since it is right next to the commode.

**Q: paint color on walls** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is paint color on walls of small bathroom remodel please.

A: Hello there, this is one of my favorite "go to colors". It works especially well with travertine. I don't know what area you are located in. This is from Miller Paint (in the pacific NW) the color is "sandbox EO137. Hope this helps.

**Q: 103 inch wheelchair accessible vanity** *(in Photo Questions)*

I want to repurpose a desk to make bathroom vanity. Does it need
to be raised off the floor?
Or does it need to have a toe kick space?

A: I am not sure I completely understand your question. There are no hard and concrete rules if you are repurposing a piece of furniture for a vanity. No it does not need to be raised off the floor. This one was, to help create the illusion of more space since it was a small bathroom. A toe kick will depend on whether you need one or not with the transition from the floor. Is this for wheelchair accessibility? If so you will want to follow ADA guidelines. Hope this helps.

**Q: Love the design.** *(in Photo Questions)*

This is a curb-less shower. Is there a transition between the two tiles in the floor, and where is the drain? Do you have info on that? Does the water come under the door? Thanks. Brenda

A: Brenda, yes this is a zero clearance curbless shower. The drain is a linear drain that is placed along the back wall. In this application the pebble flooring also goes on top of the drain, making it practically invisible. Where ever the drain is placed, the floor is sloped in that direction, so by placing it in the back of the shower the floor is sloped toward the back. There is no water leakage into the room. Hope that answers your questions.
