And the bathroom was totally outdated and just disgusting.

Which railing system did you use for the frameless railing? How did you meet the code requirements without top rail?

A: we used a wagner base shoe(http://www.wagnercompanies.com/site/Viewer.aspx?iid=15287&mname=Article&rpid=524) and anchored it to a steel tube below which was engineered to withstand the overturning requirement.

What timbers are these and where from?  Thanks

A: wood flooring is red oak with an ebony stain and the deck surface is ipe. Interior flooring was existing and patched as required and deck material was sourced locally.

What is the height of the backsplash? How high is the faucet mounted from the countertop?

A: backsplash is 10" high and faucett is mounted at 6" from the counter top
