### Reviews

**★★★★★ — ebj98aggie, April 2018**

> Roshele came highly recommended to us for a full kitchen redesign and remodel. She listened to our interests and desires, asked great questions, and provided a graphic design that was the kitchen of our dreams. She had been able to envision our wants and even extrapolate to other design aspects she thought may interest us.
>
> The contractors and workers who implemented the design were blown away by her precision and ease with which they could follow the specs. I’ve been asked for her contact information by multiple people - by those who have seen the incredible finished product and by those whose hands put it together.
>
> Roshele was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. We would recommend Roshele again and again for home design!

**★★★★ — bcosker, Oct. 2016**

> Roshele designed our kitchen and mud/laundry rooms in our vacation home in Leavenworth, Wa. Can not say enough about how great it was to work with Roshele. She spent time to find out how I work in my kitchen to ensure a design that was functional for me. Where I saw her talents really come to life was my extremely tiny mud/laundry room. So impressed with her designs and I got everything I was hoping for in that little space. I love both rooms and encourage you to work with Roshele. You will not be disappointed.

**★★★★★ — Nip Tuck Remodeling, Aug. 2016**

> Roshele and I have now worked on several projects together and I continue to be thoroughly impressed with her ability to guide our clients through the design process with ease and confidence. Her designs are beautiful and are well thought out in addition to being very meticulously documented which means that my construction team has the tools they need to bring the vision to life. She is extremely creative and I enjoy that she will undoubtedly bring an idea that we had never even considered to us as we work through design. I work to foster a very collaborative environment in my projects and Roshele brings her talent and ideas to the team with an open mind and really listens as a partner and client advocate. I look forward to the next opportunity to partner on a project.

**★★★★★ — callinap, Jan. 2016**

> My husband and I are building our own home, and starting working with Roshele in 2014, and have continued to do so throughout the process. I immediately trusted Roshele and felt she understood our style and scope of the project. Since we are doing it ourselves, she also has worked with us in our budgetary constraints. She's been excellent about providing us ideas, references and product suggestions as needed. Rochele helped us with everything from electrical and lighting plans, to cabinets, countertops, and finishes. She is friendly, responsive, and thorough. Her 3D renderings of the project have been invaluable for me to visualize our space and make decisions accordingly. I have been very pleased with her work, and can't wait to see the finished project. I would (and have) recommend Roshele to others, and would definitely hire her again.

**★★★★★ — peggy, Dec. 2015**

> A really great relationship was established in short order with Roshele. I hired her to help with a basement project. I felt I was in capable, innovative hands. Very professional, always on time with excellent follow-up. I would use her again. I recommended her to some of my friends.

**★★★★★ — kayscare123, Dec. 2015**

> Working with Roshele is easy. She is very professional and very patient. We loved working with her on our large remodel project. We would recommend her to anyone needing a great designer.

**★★★★★ — mkorling, Dec. 2014**

> From the initial meeting Roshele understood our requirements and quickly and efficiently put together a simple and elegant design that exactly met our needs.. She met with us several more times as we worked to fine tune the design. She was very responsive to follow-up questions and inquiries that we had throughout the process. She recommended finishing materials but also provided us with several excellent sources so that we could shop on our own if we wanted. We were very pleased with her design and input throughout the process.

**★★★★★ — taji1112, Nov. 2014**

> Roshele and her team at NW Home Designers are amazing at what they do. Roshele is extremely professional and her ability to see and understand the kitchen you want is undeniably one her best assets.
> She is currently working on our kitchen remodel and I cannot wait for it to come to life after seeing her drawings. I appreciate her willingness in listening on what you want and at the same time give you ideas of what you can do. The response time and communication is also a strength of hers. Thinking out of the box is a wonderful thing. I cannot say enough fabulous things about Roshele.

**★★★★★ — ginkgogal, Nov. 2014**

> My 60-year-old kitchen was due for a full remodel. I had been drafting plans for the space myself but, knowing my limits, I decided to hire a professional to vet and improve my basic design. Roshele was the perfect choice! She took all my needs into consideration and we came up with a very functional and beautiful plan.
>
> Roshele also turned me on to a fantastic contractor who is now in the middle of another project since I was so pleased with the outcome.

**★★★★ — monicadunlop, Nov. 2014**

> Roshele is an enthusiastic professional. I recently worked with Roshele in planning the layout of a new kitchen. She is wonderful at asking the right questions and really listening to the client. She encourages her clients to think through how a space will be used to fit their lifestyle.

**★★★★★ — Dave Russell, Nov. 2014**

> We are doing an extensive kitchen/family room remodel. Roshele was hired by our contractor to do the design work. She and the contractor came to our house to make an initial visit and talk with us about our project. She took the lead in listening to our thoughts about what we were looking to accomplish and answered our questions while providing some ideas of her own. Once they had measured the space, looked at access from the basement and attic she went off to give life to what we had discussed.
>
> Our next meeting was close to a month later; there had been a constant flow of information and ideas back and forth between Roshele and us. She was excellent at incorporating our ideas into the unfinished design and she was just as good at letting us know when we were asking for something that simply was beyond the available space. When we met at the design review meeting she presented several different designs each with different features. We had gone into the meeting fairly certain of how the space would look but she was able to show us a design that was significantly different than we had imagined but was very close to what we (now) really wanted. Going forward, we eliminated several designs finally beginning to concentrate on one as the almost finished final design. Both she and my wife and I came up with ideas that were incorporated into the final product; Roshele was good at making the design changes that we described. The result is a design that we love; we are excited to begin construction sometime in February 2015.
>
> Quick note I can't put the project date in and it won't let me leave it blank. So, I'm putting in Dec 2014 even though the project won't start until Feb 2015. The cost is the current estimate and not a final cost.

**★★★★★ — Jennifer Strapac, Nov. 2014**

> Roshele was easy to work with and really captured the style I had in mind for our master bathroom remodel. She finished the design in a timely manner and was able to project the plans using her laptop and our television. This was wonderful for viewing the design on a large screen. We made tweaks here and there along the way and she always responded quickly. She also worked very well with our contractor. I would definitely hire NW HomeDesigners again (to create my dream kitchen someday!).

  - Description: This kitchen remodel in a house near Lake Union in Seattle was designed to the smallest detail. Not only did the owner want everything to have its own place, but he also had some unique requirements which required creative solutions. Trying to accommodate this within a compact existing space was a challenge, but the result is quite classy. His valued espresso machine and beer dispenser have a dedicated nook complete with a pull-out countertop which allows for easy refilling and maintenance. The…
- [Redmond Re-Think](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/redmond-re-think-pj-vj~1012195)
  - Location: Redmond, WA
  - Photos: 9
  - Description: A large family needed a better common space in their suburban Redmond home. EGA expanded what used to be the family room to include a home theater and kitchen. Directly adjacent is a dining room nook, where the kitchen had previously been jammed in. The master suite was upgraded, and an ADU bathroom was put in for graceful aging in place. Outside, the new addition created deck space off the master suite, and a covered eating area for year-round enjoyment.
- [Seward Park Aerie](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/seward-park-aerie-pj-vj~634228)
  - Location: Seattle, WA
  - Photos: 14
  - Description: EGA added two new stories over the existing basement to this simple rambler in order to take advantage of the beautiful views of Lake Washington. The existing main floor was torn down to the sub-floor and only the Kitchen cabinets were saved. The new design boasts a gracious Entry flowing into the Great Room where the ceilings were raised to 9 feet. The entire top floor is the Master Suite with an Office loft and private deck with a view that might make the local bald eagles jealous! Throughout…

  - Location: Seattle, WA
  - Photos: 11
  - Description: This condo kitchen was initially a U shape trapping the cook behind a sink. The design concept was to open up the kitchen to the rest of the living space and create a bright contemporary kitchen utilizing every square inch for storage. With pot storage pull outs, utensils easily hidden (and accessible) next to the range, and hidden blender and microwave storage this kitchen functions like a galley on a boat but remains free of clutter on the countertops. The custom tile backsplash was an inspira…

  - Description: This master bath, designed by Roshele Allison of NW Home Designers exudes tranquility from the moment you enter the space. Creamy paint, a cozy heated floor and a sculpted tile feature wall greet you warmly, inviting you in. Every inch of the room has purpose and has been thoughtfully planned out to meet our client's wishes. The entire project reconfigured the master suite and created a new walk in closet by re-purposing one of the existing spare bedrooms. Goals & Objectives: • Re-purpose existi…

  - Description: This kitchen features a large curve peninsula to accommodate entertaining. This peninsula wraps around giving the homeowners more counter space around their new range, large pot drawers and a spice pull. Now they can easily cook and chat at the same time, not to mention the higher eating counter hides any prep mess left over. One of the challenges with this remodel was the countertop. The beautiful Red Hollywood Granite needed careful templating and installation to make sure the color and veinin…

  - Location: Issaquah, WA
  - Photos: 22
  - Description: Part of the joy of remodeling is seeing the homes we work in undergo significant change. This house is in Klahanie and we updated the whole main floor. Let there be light! The new kitchen has a much larger window and we removed the upper cabinet between the window & the door. It feels so much lighter and with all the new cabinetry, the cabinet is not missed at all. The kitchen Remodel included creating a large island for the family for meals, a much larger window for added light, we moved the dr…

  - Description: Architect, Eric Gedney, had a vision for this historic brick capital house and creating a kitchen addition that looked as if it was part of the original home. Vaulted ceilings and leaded glass windows open up the beautiful kitchen to it's adjacent courtyard. He brought in Roshele with NW Home Designers to work on the cabinet/spatial planning, selection of fixture and finish materials to create a cohesive look through out the house that keeps with the traditional feel but brings the home into the…

  - Location: Not specified
  - Photos: 23
  - Description: Our clients wanted their home remodel to reflect a closeness to the elements of the ocean depths, fire and the sky. They are avid scuba divers and love being outside. To them, their home on a bluff seemed to be tucked right up into the prevailing weather conditions. The home, built in 1954, overlooks Lake Washington and was to be a complete tear-down and renovation. We saved foundations, the basement slab, main floor joists and yes, the kitchen cabinets. The three-story remodel was built out at…

  - Location: Not specified
  - Photos: 6
  - Description: This condo kitchen was in need of a general face lift and re-arrangement of space. It started out as your typical "u" shaped kitchen with little space around the range and room for only one person. The solution was to move things around and create an island to serve as uninterrupted counterspace and a raised eating bar for guests. Because of the vaulted ceilings we had an opportunity to add an another row of glass front cabinets adding a nice visual. What used to be bi-fold storage is now usable…

  - Location: Not specified

  - Description: The master bathroom once resided on the main floor until my clients decided they wanted more space and to capture more of their view of Lake Washington and Mount Rainer, hence a new second story addition. When I asked them what feeling they wanted their master bathroom to have, the first word was “beachy”. They travel a lot and wanted their own retreat steps away from their bedroom. We came up with a plan that gave them each their own vanity area, a large tub and a glass shower for two. Now, to…
- [Bright and Sleek Master Bathroom](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/bright-and-sleek-master-bathroom-pj-vj~306771)
  - Location: Seattle, WA
  - Photos: 10
  - Description: This space was once a divided up old and tired bathroom that did not utilize the space nor give the home owners a shower that was usable. This couple wanted a clean and contemporary design that allows the area to feel spacious and let the back lit onyx panel in the shower be the star, and that is exactly what they got! Removing walls and rearranging the access to the bathroom and the master bedroom gave us the room to create a master bathroom that fits all of their needs.
