## Community Q&A

**Q: What is the roof system used on the block wall portion?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: The trusses are engineered wood trusses and the deck is plywood.

**Q: Flooring** *(in Photo Questions)*

What's the flooring used here?

A: It
is natural gray concrete with a hard trowel finish.

**Q: What is the cladding on the exterior? It looks like it is a wood grain** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Cedar – we bleached it prior to staining it to give it a more uniform
look.

**Q: Living room floor** *(in Photo Questions)*

What kind of flooring is this? Where did you get it? Manufacturers? Cost? Imported from where? Where can I get it? Is there radiant heat in the flooring?

A: Actually this is an exposed concrete floor that was cut and polished. We did not install radiant heat in this project

**Q: Glass shower enclosure** *(in Photo Questions)*

How was the glass for the shower enclosure attached to floor/wall? Low profile u channel or just silicone?

A: We installed recessed channel at the wall and a deeper channel in the ceiling. The glass was siliconed to the shower basin.

**Q: can you tell me about the recessed lighting above the floating shelves** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: These are standard 4" recessed can light fixtures. We cut out holes in the steel soffit plate so we could do away with the trim piece for a cleaner look.
