Would you be willing to update this review since you were so kind to update your other review to a positive one after our Vandalia field manager met with you and resolved everything? **★ — Arthur Talbott, May 2019** > This company is not honest. I was told that a dead tree they planted would be replaced. Later i was told they were working on it. Last time i was told they would have to hide the cost. This tree has no warranty from Hittle or the builder Pulte but it was dead when planted. Hittle should have been honest at the start rather than half truths for for a year. I would never buy from Hittle. **Comment from Hittle Landscaping:** > We are sorry to hear you are having problems with your landscaping. Unfortunately most national home builders do not allow us to include any warranty in order keep their home costs competitive – this isn’t under our control. We do ensure the plants and sod have been installed in good condition and according to the highest horticultural standards. We then obtain confirmation on install quality by the builder’s representative, and then place the landscape in their care, custody and control. Hittle is one of the largest family-owned landscape firms in central Indiana and we’ve built a good reputation over the past 44 years by doing the right thing. > > As Mrs. Street states in her review, the contractual agreement to supply and install plant materials, sod and seed was between Hittle and the builder (not Hittle and the Street family). The builder did not elect for Hittle to provide a warranty on this project and this was clearly communicated to Mr. & Mrs. Street during the Homeowner Orientation. He incorporated all the elements we asked for. Pool house with a bathroom, fire pit, lovely landscaping around the pool and the house. After the design was complete, Hittle construction custom built the pool house. It was a great experiences, the guys were always respectful and worked hard, there were never issues when we needed to change the design mid-stream. Next, the landscaping crew came in to put the final touches around the new structures. Again, David and the crew were hard working and respectful. It's nice to work with professionals. We love our outdoor space! Thank you Hittle!!
