A: The material is IPE. Its a type of hardwood. As far as alternatives go, any exterior finished hardwood would work. **Q: Windows & door** *(in Photo Questions)* What manufacturers did you use for the Windows and front door? A: The windows are Fleetwood in anodized dark bronze.
