A: Those are a natural Black Tusk Basalt Flagstone from Bedrock Granite Sales in Vancouver B.C.

A: 1/4" minus crushed rock is the path material.

A: Yes it is.  Hakonechloa macra 'Aureola' is the Latin name.

is this colored, is this slippery

A: No, it is not slippery  The Concrete has an acid etch finish, that is the texture similar to 100 grit sand paper, so even when wet, the surface still has great traction.

A: This is cast in place concrete with a sandblast finish and saw-cut scoring pattern.

Please provide the name of the light green grasses cascading the stairs. Lovely! Will they remain that color throughout the the summer....What zone will they thrive in?

A: That is Japanese Forest Grass (Hakonechloa macra 'Aureola').  It is a perennial, so it will stay green from spring till late fall, then die back to nothing through winter.  It is hardy in zones 5-9
