**★★★★★ — Mark Nadler, Nov. 2022**

> Outstanding!!! We’ve been so happy with Bob and all the work he’s done for us on our whole home renovation. He has worked tirelessly to get our designs in shape and ready for building. His previous experience as a builder enabled him to work between the county building department, structural engineers, and our contractor, to navigate the complex process. He is very responsive and will keep going until the work is done. This has been a learning process and are so happy that Bob is on our side. Construction has begun and Bob continues to be engaged and available when questions arise. I highly recommend Bob Kutner as an architect for waterfront architecture expansions, renovations, and additions. We have been very happy with our choice.

**Comment from Robert Kutner Architect:**

> Degi and Mark, thank you for the wonderful review. It has been a pleasure helping you design your Palm City, Florida waterfront home renovations. Together, we achieved an excellent design and worked through structural issues to achieve the best possible solutions. I am so happy for you both to have the home of your dreams.

> We had an excellent experience, working with Bob! He is a true professional, and has a lifetime of experience. He has a lot of great ideas, but he was more than happy to execute our vision. He is a true professional. I really appreciate that. He spent decades working as a general contractor and a architect. We remodeled a home and added an addition of a primary bedroom suite. Bob assisted us with additional professional services above and beyond architectural. He has tremendous knowledge and experience in remodeling, additions, and new construction. Bob is a full service architect and has a great team Including engineers. I 100% recommend Robert kutner Architect!

> Remodeled an entire interior of a house for me. Very hardworking and a stickler for details. His background as an architect proved valuable as he had many great suggestions for updates to our home. I was very happy with the renovation. I highly recommend him.

**Comment from Robert Kutner Architect:**

> Rick, thank you for the glowing review. It was a pleasure designing and renovating your family home. By removing walls, updating all systems and adding 30 recessed LED fixtures, we were able to modernize and lighten a dark house in an environmentally friendly way.

**★★★★★ — Richard Forbes, Oct. 2022**

> Dear Sir: I have worked as material supplier and as an engineer with Bob Kutner for over 30 years. Bob did a lot of design build
> in the Baltimore area not only designing projects but actually building them. He is very conscientious about his work and always
> went overboard to make sure his projects followed the current code and that the customer was happy. I would highly recommend Bob Kutner for your next project.

**Comment from Robert Kutner Architect:**

> Thank you, Rick. It has been a pleasure doing business with your company and have especially enjoyed the excellent working relationship we have established through the years. I appreciate all of the long meetings we have had reviewing the structural design of client's projects. Thank you for being a mentor.

**★★★★★ — Bennett Sweren, Feb. 2022**

> My wife and I wanted to update our 20 year old Baltimore County home. We selected Bob because of his reputation and had some of the projects he had done in our area. It was easy to work with Bob on the plans as he had great ideas and my wife was able to discuss a number of different concepts before deciding on the final project.
> Bob was the general contractor and got the work done on time and on budget. When there was a problem with an item no longer available, Bob was able to create a work around that was a good alternative. He even came out out a year later to fix a weather related issue.
> I highly recommend Bob as a talented architect for any size job.

**Comment from Robert Kutner Architect:**

> Thank you, Bennett & Kathryn,
> It was my pleasure to help you create a new Portico entrance to your magnificent home. May you have many years of enjoyment.
> Bob

**★★★★★ — Ross Kappelman, Feb. 2022**

**★★★★★ — tracydstein, Oct. 2019**

**Comment from Robert Kutner Architect:**

> Dear Tracy & Scott,
> It was indeed a pleasure working with you both to create your amazing addition and renovation. Together, we developed the design that was the winning solution for your home. Thank you.

**★★★★★ — Nathan Blumberg, Sept. 2019**

> My family hired Mr. Kutner to finish our basement, improve our mudroom layout, and update other components to our home. Mr. Kutner is a skilled architect and we greatly enjoyed working with him. We found that Mr. Kutner‘s final product was both high end and of expert craftsmanship.

**Comment from Robert Kutner Architect:**

> Dear Amanda and Nathan,
> It has been a pleasure working with you on all of your projects through the years. Your new Mud room and Laundry room and Garage renovation is spectacular. Hope you enjoy it for years to come. Thank you.

**★★★★★ — Sara Sides, Sept. 2019**

> We used Bob Kutner as the architect on a dining room/sunroom addition to our home. It was a small footprint (sunroom was to be built over an existing deck), but we wanted to maximize the space and ceiling height which made the design more complex. Bob worked with us closely and came up with a design plan that we loved. He was very responsive and knowledgeable. Bob was willing to work with our contractor and visited during construction--he even came out at no additional cost to do an "exploratory" look at the deck to determine if existing footers could be used, etc. Bob is both an architect and a builder and that's a real plus. If we had not already contracted with a builder, we would have used Bob for both. We can definitely recommend him.

**Comment from Robert Kutner Architect:**

> Dear Sara and David,
> Thank you for your kind review. It was indeed a pleasure working with you both on your Sun room / Dining room project. We were able to blend the addition with your existing home & I hope you enjoy the new space and use it daily.

**★★★★★ — Barbara Frank, Feb. 2018**

> I hired Bob Kutner ten years ago to extend the first floor of my house in order to create a large Kitchen, Breakfast room and Screen porch. The job was FABULOUS. I have gotten so many thumbs up from friends and guests. The project won an award of excellence at that time. I highly recommend the Kutner firm.

**★★★★★ — nickshayna, Nov. 2017**

> Bob Kutner designed and built a portico on our 1941 brick home in historic Sudbrook Park in Maryland! His expertise with historic homes to maintain the integrity of the house and area was quite evident both during and completion of the project! Bob is a hands on architect and builder. He was on site daily and kept us constantly in the loop during construction! The quality of his work is the BEST! We HIGHLY recommend him to anyone thinking of construction either on existing property or new project! We have had many people in our neighborhood compliment the project and how it has greatly enhanced our home! Our neighbor next door liked the project so much she had Bob create the same on her house
> Thanks again Bob for a GREAT job!

**Comment from Robert Kutner Architect:**

> Dear Linda and Deane,
> Thank you for the glowing review. It gave me great pleasure to work with you in Sudbrook Park on the same street my family called home for eighteen years. The portico adds a sense of entry and has great curb appeal, as well as adding value to your home.
> Sincerely,
> Bob

**★★★★★ — User, Sept. 2017**

> Mr. Kuntner created an amazing design for our waterfront home. He kept the waterfront theme throughout the design. We have a 2 story atrium at the entrance and open space leading from the kitchen through the living area to waterfront views. A second story was added, as well as a rooftop deck. Thank you Bob!

**Comment from Robert Kutner Architect:**

> Dear Connie and Tom,
> Thank you for the opportunity to design your awesome renovation. It was a challenge to start with a one-story cottage home and create a two-story addition and rooftop deck to capture waterfront views.

**★★★★★ — Joanne Tucker, July 2017**

> Bob transformed our master bath into a beautiful, award winning luxurious spa. Bob was hands on for the entire renovation from the design, to the building, and to the painting. Bob was very creative in his design for our bath and closets.

**Comment from Robert Kutner Architect:**

> Dear Joanne and David,
> Thank you very much for your Master Bath and Walk-in Closet project review. It was a pleasure working with you both to transform your spaces into an open, airy Master Bath suite. Adding two Velux skylights to the room gave the space much needed natural light.

**★★★★★ — Nancy Tennis, June 2017**

> Using his outstanding architectural skills, construction knowledge, and design ideas, Bob totally transformed our small and outdated kitchen. We were unfamiliar with the realities of renovation, but Bob coached us at all stages and accompanied me to cabinet dealers, appliance suppliers and granite warehouses to find the best selections. Bob then brought in workers to strip the old uneven drywall down to brick and wiring and to remove multiple layers of old linoleum and part of the sub-floor damaged by a dishwasher leak. After his crew of efficient and skillful carpenters, plumbers and electricians worked for several weeks, our kitchen had smooth new walls, mahogany-stained solid wood cabinets and a deep farmhouse-style sink. Bob found a granite installer who measured and cut our granite selection perfectly to wrap around corners--resulting in a beautiful counter that ties together the rest of the kitchen’s elements. Bob also brought in a skillful wood floor man who artfully installed and stained a new oak floor that not only blends perfectly with the old oak floors of our hallway and dining room, but has multiple coats of finish to protect against spills. Bob advised us that a wider and open doorway to the hallway and working the bulkhead into the design would make the kitchen seem larger and more balanced--and he was absolutely right. Finally, in contrast with other contractors, Bob was supportive of my plan to have a lazy susan cabinet in a tight corner and to leave one wall open to enhance the kitchen's small space.
>
> I recommend Bob highly -- he is a true professional, and he produced a kitchen that has both high quality and excellent value. He was always available by phone, text or email, incredibly responsive and informed me immediately when problems arose--and promptly solved those problems. The bottom line is that Bob took a small inconvenient kitchen and transformed it into one that is both beautiful and utilitarian.

**Comment from Robert Kutner Architect:**

> Nancy thank you so very much for the glowing review. I too, enjoyed working with you to develop the overall plan and then to implement the design with our visits to showrooms and assist with some of the difficult decisions, to achieve our mutual goal to produce the best possible kitchen. All clients should be as involved as much as you were on this special project. Again, thank you.

**★★★★★ — ellen\_schaefer69, June 2017**

> Bob is absolutely terrific. He really thinks things through and pays attention to every detail. He's wonderful to work with. We've used his expertise for two major projects: outdoor living space and a master bath redo. We are so pleased with his creativity and passion! He doesn't take on too many projects at once so his customers get the benefit of his undivided attention. Would recommend Bob in a heartbeat!

**Comment from Robert Kutner Architect:**

> Dear Ellen and Steve,
> Thank you for the sincere review. It has been a pleasure working with you on your awesome projects as both the architect and builder. You encouraged me to go beyond the ordinary to create your new Master Bath and Outdoor Living Environment, both award of excellence winners from the Maryland Home Builders Association.

**★★★★★ — Nandini Mouli, May 2017**

> Bob is a very creative architect who comes up with many aesthetic and functional options for construction projects. He understands the client's needs and works on meeting them diligently. Our home expansion project including a sun-room, a wrap-around deck and a theater/entertainment room was done meticulously. He works well with sub contractors and gets work done. I would highly recommend engaging Bob and his company for any residential/small-commercial work.

**Comment from Robert Kutner Architect:**

> Thank you Nandini and Ram. It was a pleasure working with you to maximize the design options and create your gorgeous new Sunroom, Home Theater and deck.

**★★★★★ — Susan Macht, May 2017**

> My husband and I decided to build an addition to our home. We wanted to build a master bathroom suite, a very large modern closet and a large family room. Our house is a 1960's home that has been updated through the years. We wanted to find a builder that we were comfortable working with. We met Bob Kutner. Bob is a licensed architect as well as a builder. As soon as we met, we both knew that Bob was going to be the one we needed to do our project. Besides being a very personable, kind person, Bob is a true professional and expert in home additions. He listened to our ideas and was able to guide us and build on our ideas. He came up with beautiful plans for us. Being a licensed architect as well as a builder he was able to create amazing plans and follow them through. Building your project with the professional that designed it is a real plus. Bob did and outstanding job with great attention to all details. Everyone that comes to our home wants to know right away who did this addition. We actually have a handful of friends that hired him right after us and they are all very pleased. If you are in the market for a new home, or an addition to your existing home you must contact Bob Kutner. He is a truly talented professional.

**★★★★★ — Bridgette LaVeist, April 2017**

> Kutner Architect Builder Remodeler was great to work with. He is flexible and very creative. Not only is he the designer and architect, he is also the builder, which allowed for me to revise the design in the field while the project is underway. He is reliable and was always on the work site supervising the workers. I will certainly use him on any future projects. He did a spectacular job designing and building our backyard sports court and patio. He also added a two story circular master bedroom addition to our home. Again, I highly recommend his company.

**Comment from Robert Kutner Architect:**

> Dear Bridgette & Thomas,
> Thank you for your kind sincere review. Your projects are beautiful as well as functional. I thoroughly enjoyed working with you on both projects and appreciate being invited to friendly and political events at your home. Your input was very helpful in achieving the fine outcome.
> Sincerely,
> Bob

**★★★★ — User, April 2017**

> We retained Kutner Architect to do some major work including exterior upgrades and a complete kitchen renovation which included totally gutting the kitchen and removing interior and exterior load bearing walls. He did design work and selected and managed variety of subcontractors and other professionals. The project transformed our kitchen/family room and the finished product is outstanding. The job was professionally done and was completed exactly on budget.

**Comment from Robert Kutner Architect:**

> Dear Dennis and Ann,
> Thank you for your kind review. Together we created a wonderful new Kitchen and Family room with great views to your wooded back yard. It has been a pleasure working with you and trust you will have many years of enjoyment in your new environment.
> Sincerely,
> Bob Kutner

**★★★★★ — Eric Siegel, April 2017**

> It has been more than two decades since Bob Kutner transformed two deteriorating porches of our end-of-group rowhome into seamless additions, handling both the design and construction with incredible skill, dedication and attention to detail. During that time, his work, which was done smoothly and according to budget, has held up perfectly, both physically and aesthetically.
>
> The first addition involved a screened porch off one of three second-floor bedrooms, which was of limited use. Securing the space structurally, and extending pipes for baseboard radiators, Bob set the stage for turning the area into a year-round addition to the bedroom. To take advantage of the southern exposure and second-floor views, he put in three-quarter length windows on three sides, making the bedroom the showpiece of the house. A small. but important decision was to carve a space into a lower wall for a unit air conditioner, so as not to break up the symmetry of the windows. The space was that was once the room for my daughter, who is long since grown and gone, is now a perfect place for plants, an exercise mat -- and an incredible guest room!
>
> Bob's work enclosing the back porch was less extensive but the results, in their own way, were just as spectacular. Again taking advantage of the southern exposure, he made extensive use of windows. And he added a small electric heater and a built-in cabinet, creating a cozy space so store light gardening tools and serve as the rear entrance to the house.
>
> Now, as when the work was done, it looks as if the work was part of our original nearly 100-year-old house! My wife and I have now lived in that house for 40 of those years, and I can say without hesitation that the work Bob did was the best investment in the property we made.

**★★★★★ — bethanybert, April 2017**
