We met with a few architects and designers before deciding to go with Dave. He really listened to what our goals were and balanced giving us what we wanted in the design but also being honest when he had an alternative idea that might work better. The design process was fast and easy. It took about a month to get an initial design then about a week to make some adjustments until we settled on a final plan. Dave gave us floor plans, drawings, and a 3D design which helped us visualize the project. He also met with us to talk through changes so we could see what they would look like before making any final decisions. The other designers we interviewed only included one or two revisions in their bids. Being new to this process, we weren't sure how many revisions we would want and Dave's promise was that he would work with us until we were 100% happy which gave us peace of mind. He wasn't our lowest bid but I think we got the best value from him.
