They put up sheetrock with no nailers sometimes for the edges/seams, those seams then are taped and then after a few months, cracks appear. They will redo it, but they issue is they don't nail the edges of the sheetrock. Furthermore, this contractor while a wonderful person, can turn on a dime. Lloyd help transform a small,unsightly porch and some a boxy sitting room and dining room into a great room ,located off my kitchen. This involved raising the outside porch, dealing with the condo association and revising the new porch floor to seamlessly match the existing wood floor. One of the walls we needed to remove was load bearing and we had to get additional foundation support poured in the crawl space. Windows needed to be changed. The final product was fantastic.;The view is experienced from 270 degrees and it feels like i am in a vacation resort. His crews came on time and did what they were supposed to. The new space is wonderful for entertaining and enjoying our extended family. I am finally this year going to revamp the kitchen. I spoke to Lloyd and to other contractors as well.....but I am about to hire Lloyd Stephens again as I know my kitchen will be done right. Also, I often dealt with his wife on the phone who runs his office and she is charming and helpful.
