Bryan was quick to respond and after sending him a rather crude sketch of what we wanted Bryan made some suggestions to help ensure the work could be done and done properly. After confirming what would work best he went to work a day later.

It's the nicest piece of furniture we own and is a regular topic of conversation with dinner guests and visitors to our home. It's built to last 1,000 years and is just what we were looking for. Brian's pricing is better than fair and he'll welcome you into his Oakland studio so you can see his stash of eclectic vintage materials and get a feel for how his team works. All in all, a great experience and a great outcome!

> We couldn't be happier with the incredible craftsmanship provided by Bryan Appleton Designs.  We asked Bryan to create a new queen-sized bed frame  with a headboard and footboard that would evoke a relaxed "cottage" feel for our craftsman home.  Bryan immediately understood what we wanted and was able to create a vision for it that matched our style perfectly. The bed is also an incredibly sturdy piece of furniture -- (we kid around that in the event of an earthquake, the family should gather under the bed). The construction is exceptional and the materials unique and beautiful   Bryan ordered special hardware to ensure that the frame would assemble in an easy but solid manner.  Bryan was also very lovely to work with -- very easy to get along with, funny, straight-forward, and reasonable.  He involved us as much as we wanted in figuring out the design, color scheme, etc., and provided great guidance and advice at the same time.  I cannot recommend him highly enough -- we will surely be working with Appleton Designs again - on a daybed/sofa for our daughter and hopefully new kitchen cabinetry/furniture as well.

I wanted benches or stools, and Bryan and I co-designed 2 stools that he custom made for me to match the table. He was fantastic to work with, understood what I wanted, and delivered beautiful stools within budget and time estimate. I would recommend without hesitation!
