### Reviews

**★★★★★ — Michael Mueller, Aug. 2018**

> Story Hill did an excellent job with our kitchen and half-bath remodel! They had great ideas and maintained a very professional approach throughout the whole project. We really appreciated their open-mindedness and how they incorporated our feedback into the design. There were a few setbacks (as there would be of any large project like ours), but they did a great job handling those and overcoming the challenges. It was a pleasure to work with them, thanks Tom, Eileen, Matt, Eric, Michael, and Jack!!

**Comment from Story Hill Renovations LLC:**

> Thanks for trusting our firm with your home and the project. We enjoyed working with you on the project. Please keep us in mind for projects down the road. We'll reach out to you soon to check in to see if anything needs to be tweaked!

**★★★★★ — Dave and Ellen Church, Sept. 2017**

> What a great experience! Jack, Tom, Eileen, Matt, and the rest of the Story Hill Team were fantastic. From the innovative design to the professionalism with which each phase of our kitchen remodel was completed... outstanding.
> We never heard the word "change order" for the small changes we asked them to make for us along the way. Their suggestions of how to make our kitchen more efficient were invaluable. We have recommended them countless times since the completion of our kitchen project. It was truly an enjoyable 10 weeks.

**Comment from Story Hill Renovations LLC:**

> Thanks so much for the kind words. You both were a pleasure to work with. Thanks for trusting our firm with your home. We appreciate the referrals; keep them coming!

**★★★★★ — Katie, Sept. 2017**

> We are thrilled with our experience with Story Hill Renovations! From designing the project, to planning, implementation, execution and clean up...our experience was one of considerate, dedicated professionals with an eye for detail and excellence in delivery of the final results. We gutted our kitchen and expanded it into the dining room, while also installing new hardwood floors throughout nearly the entire first floor (the exception was the powder room and mudroom, which will be "Phase 2" of the project, with Story Hill). I appreciated the everything - EVERYTHING down to the paint colors - was called out in the contract prior to our signing off on the project and starting demo. This front-loaded all of the decision-making, which meant it took longer to kickoff the project than we maybe would have liked; but more importantly it meant that there was very little room for surprises. Not that there weren't bumps. There will always be a couple in a project of this scale. But Story Hill's handling of those bumps and their open communication left us reassured and with those "bumps" handled to our satisfaction. I would recommend this company without an ounce of hesitation.

**Comment from Story Hill Renovations LLC:**

> We appreciate their business and trust to complete the project. We look forward to working on the phase tow portion of the project.

**★★★★★ — JB Custom Drywall, July 2017**

> Our crews have worked with Story Hill Renovations on many projects during the past few years. Story Hill is an amazing company to work with. Jack, Tom and the entire Story Hill team go above and beyond to ensure top quality and service. Their attention to detail speaks for itself. Beyond the service and quality, the Story Hill team is a bunch of great people that treat every individual with a genuine care. It is an honor to work with Story Hill Renovations.

**Comment from Story Hill Renovations LLC:**

> Thanks for the great review. We work hard to be sure our clients have a great remodeling experience. Your hard work on our projects is appreciated.

**★★★★★ — kohal\_abigail, June 2017**

> My husband and I interviewed several remodeling companies to do a full gut of our kitchen and dining room in 2015. For several reasons we hired Story Hill Renovations. To mention a few:
>
> Story Hill has excellent communication that started from the first phone call regarding our consultation through the end of the project. If we had questions, the owners Jack and Tom returned our phone calls immediately.
>
> Story Hill was able to create our dream kitchen within our budget and finished the scope of work a week prior to the scheduled completion date.
>
> The lead carpenter ensured a safe work environment throughout each day and the job site was left broom cleaned and all materials back in their perspective place.
>
> Story Hill was meticulous and paid close attention to each detail.
>
> Story Hill along with all hired sub contractor were very professional, friendly to all of our guests who might have stopped by during the project, and even was careful to keep our dog safe.
>
> My husband and I were pleased with our kitchen remodel and hired Story Hill again in 2016 to remodel our Master Bathroom. We highly recommend Storyhill Remodeling and believe that their ethics and craftsmanships are unmatched in the industry.

**★★★★ — Amy Williams, June 2017**

> Storyhill Renovations did a great job on our kitchen remodel. Our kitchen was a complete "gut job" right down to subflooring and wall studs. We are very happy with the results!

**Comment from Story Hill Renovations LLC:**

> Thanks so much for the kind words. We enjoyed working with you on the renovations.

**★★★★★ — Steve Evans, June 2017**

> I had contacted Story Hill to take on a small finish carpentry job of installing historically correct moldings and framing of a French door or 1927 home. While the project was small compared to a full remodel or addition, the attention to detail and the quality of the finish work was exceptional. As a do-it-yourself-er, it would have taken me four times longer for half of the quality that the carpenters at Story Hill delivered. The value of their services was very good and the crew were very nice, conscientious, courteous and respectful of our home and its furnishings. I would, and have, recommended them to my friends and look forward to doing future projects with them.

**★★★★★ — Carol Peters, June 2017**

> Every thing was explained and the schedule was detailed and provided to me. All the various providers were on time, friendly and professional. They completed their work within the planned schedule and the work was well done not rushed to be done on time. Since I have an old house something always strange or unexpected seems to happen but they assured me that nothing would surprise them and they managed all those circumstances with ease.

**Comment from Story Hill Renovations LLC:**

> Thanks so much for the nice review! We work hard to be sure our clients best interests are in mind while transforming the space.

**★★★★★ — Milestone Plumbing Inc, May 2017**

> Our team has worked with this company on a few different projects (kitchens, bathrooms, and basement renovations) and have been impressed by their attention to detail, customer service, and the quality of their work. We refer this company to our family and friends whenever we have a chance and know they will be well taken care of. Everyone on the Story Hill team exhibits a genuine concern for the client's belongings and goes the extra mile to make sure their client's love their new space! Top notch firm is an understatement!!!

**Comment from Story Hill Renovations LLC:**

> Thanks for the kind words. We enjoy working with Milestone whenever possible. We look forward to our next project together.

**★★★★★ — thetileninja, May 2017**

> These guys sweat the details! There's great care taken from initial contact, design, choosing of materials, implimentation to execution of work from hanging of cabinets to trim and woodwork. I'm an incredibly picky tile installer and they know this and that's why they send their most detail orentated designs my way. A very disciplined and communicative bunch to work with. You get the idea that they are a team that gels very well.

**Comment from Story Hill Renovations LLC:**

> Thanks so much for the kind words Dan. We appreciated your work and dedication to our customer's projects. Keep up the great work!

**★★★★★ — Thomas Pscheid, Feb. 2017**

> The people at Story Hill were very professional in all respects. The quality of their workmanship was outstanding. All the workers were friendly and respectful. They took great care to make the remodeling project exactly what we hoped for. The project was completed on time and within the budget.

**Comment from Story Hill Renovations LLC:**

> Thanks for the kind words. This client was a pleasure to work for.

**★★★★★ — Korinthia Klein, Jan. 2017**

> Story Hill was excellent in every way. They were on time, on budget, and helpful. I always felt my input was listened to, and I appreciated their suggestions when I needed them. I would recommend them to anyone doing renovation work in the Milwaukee area.

**Comment from Story Hill Renovations LLC:**

> We were excited to help this client. We knew she had planned to remodel the kitchen for a few years and were more than happy when they chose our firm. We enjoyed working with them on the transformation. Great bungalow kitchen in Milwaukee's classic Bay View area.

 - Description: The owners of a 1935 Tudor wanted to make the most of their compact kitchen while creating a better flow for guests, upgrading their appliances and elevating the entire space aesthetically. They chose to work with the existing custom-made cabinets, which were adapted to fit new appliances and freshened with updated hardware. - Description: The owners of this 1937 Lannon stone Colonial wanted a more functional and up-to-date kitchen that would suit their family’s busy lifestyle. Rather than removing a wall, they opted to retain the original layout of a dining room at the front of the house and a kitchen at the back. We took the kitchen down to the studs and did some reframing of the inside wall to accommodate the new plans but left the original footprint intact. - Description: This 1930s bathroom was the only full bathroom in this home for many years and the claustrophobic space was not serving this family of four anymore. The homeowners wanted to open the bathroom up and add a standing shower alongside the bathtub. The main goal was to create the look of a larger bathroom within the existing walls. We converted the bathroom door to a pocket door. We turned the linen closet into the standing shower and removed the alcove above the tub. One of the statement pieces of t…

 - Description: This Tudor style home has many of the original architectural elements throughout the home though the kitchen was not one of them. We removed a hall closet to gain space inside the kitchen itself. This allowed us to open the floor plan and add an island. ## Community Q&A

**Q: any idea where that window can be purchased??** *(in Photo Questions)*

Beautiful window- brand? store? Thanks.

A: You might want to get in your DeLorean and head back into the 1930's with Micheal J. Fox and and Chrispher Lloyd. This is an original window installed when the home was built. We always do our best to clean up and to be sure the existing windows will "fit" in the new space. I do know that Marvin windows does reproduction work. I have been through thier restoration facility and I am confident they could reproduce this window. You'd need to find a local Marvin dealer and go from there. Best of luck. We appreciate your message. Be safe.
