I’ve spent close to $200K with them. BRAVAS support service has been horrible. I purchased a McIntosh receiver along with a complete Control4 automation. My received stopped working. Their support team has had it for almost three months. I've been told many excuses and ever changing stories without any action. The parts were on order for a month to the repair shop isn't responding for weeks but they call every day for a status to the parts are now being overnighted to now the only person in the country that can repair it had a death in the family.... I would not recommend buying any high-end equipment from BRAVAS is you have to rely on them for warranty work. **★★★★★ — Kay Cosby Interiors, Jan. 2019** > I've known Keith at Audio Video Innovations for years now and he's always been professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. A conversation with him puts you at ease as your project will be completely handled. It is apparent that he is an expert in the field of Audio Video because he teaches you about the complex technology intricacies, benefits, and installations. I have every faith that anyone who works with AVI will be very pleased with their new smart home. **★★★★★ — Carlos Rodriguez, April 2018** > I can’t believe we have a movie theater in our own home thanks to the great work of Audio Video Innovations. They pride themselves in providing their customers with quality products at competitive prices and they proved it in our family’s media room. Audio Video Innovations has top-notch customer service. Installation was quick, practically in and out in no time, leaving us to enjoy our media room within hours. The entire time they were focused and attentive to every detail ensuring settings were adjusted to the exact specification to give us a crystal clear image and a sound that is felt deep to soul. They even stayed a few extra minutes to give us a thorough tutorial of all the different options and Savant equipment settings and didn’t leave until we felt comfortable working the equipment ourselves. **★★★★★ — Mark Kinney, March 2018** > I contacted Keith Brown, Business Development for Audio Video Innovations at the recommendation of a friend of mine. They are great! I updated a "tired" Media Room with an Epson 4K projector. In addition, I installed Sonos amps and new ceiling and outdoor speakers for my whole house music system. This far exceeded my expectations and simplicity of use. AVI installed a new 65" TV in the family room, with Sonos Playbar Package, works great. > > We also engaged AVI for our Back Yard Patio Addition. This included installation of a 75" TV over the fire place in stone as well as installation of outdoor screens for a reduction of sunlight and mosquitoes. Both the TV and screens are automated with our Amazon Echo devices. This addition is now our favorite room in the house as a result of the comfortable living and entertainment space. > > I will engage AVI for my future AV needs. AVI delivered on timing, solutions, and ease of use. Great company and great people. ## Selected projects - [Fort Worth Transitional Smart Home](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/fort-worth-transitional-smart-home-pj-vj~5779221) - Location: Fort Worth, TX - Photos: 12 - [Bluffview Modern Home](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/bluffview-modern-home-pj-vj~5643400) - Location: Dallas, TX - Photos: 8 - [Hi Tech Country Home](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/hi-tech-country-home-pj-vj~4864689) - Location: Lucas, TX - Photos: 4 - [Modern Fort Worth Motorized Shades](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/modern-fort-worth-motorized-shades-pj-vj~4865001) - Location: Fort Worth, TX - Photos: 3 - [University Park Family Retreat](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/university-park-family-retreat-pj-vj~2608585) - Location: Dallas, TX - Photos: 6 - [Lake Highlands Outdoor Living Space](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/lake-highlands-outdoor-living-space-pj-vj~2993448) - Location: Dallas, TX - Photos: 7 - [Bluffview Modern Farmhouse](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/bluffview-modern-farmhouse-pj-vj~2028690) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 4 - Description: Audio Video Innovations just completed another project in this beautiful home in the Bluffview neighborhood of Dallas. It was the recipient of the 2016 ARC Award for Best Media Room. This fantastic Theater was completed as a partnership between Reynolds Signature Homes and Audio Video Innovations. The project started with a blank canvas, an under-utilized room above a 3-car garage. From there the homeowner spelled out her desire for a room with all of the comforts of a living space, but without sacrificing the capability of a dedicated theater. Wood species? Color? It’s beautiful A: Unfortunately we only worked on the A/V on this job, so I don't have the answer to your question regarding the floors. I will say they are a beautiful, lightly weather, gray and look fantastic in person. **Q: New game room** *(in Photo Questions)* What is this flooring? A: Unfortunately, we just handled the technology for this home, but the builder, Calais Custom Homes, is on Houzz and should be able to tell you the details on the flooring. Good luck! **Q: Tablet for Contractors?** *(in Electronics)* I had no idea where to post this so I picked this forum. I am researching tablets for my Dad. He is a master electrician and would like something to carry around with him. I am looking for input from other contractors as to what they use on job sites. Functionality is obviously very important as well as connectivity to other devices. Currently, my DH and I are living in their house while we build our home but will be moving in a weeks time. At which time he will finally have the room back that will be his new office. He will have a desktop set up (I am convincing him to get a huge touch screen monitor) so the ability to connect the tab and transfer files to that would be important. Any advice would be much appreciated! A: Thanks for the Bluebeam recommendation, that looks like a great markup and collaboration tool that we can use as well. --- *Source: Houzz professional profile.
