How was this panel constructed? Is it just for looks or is it functioning?

A: We had our custom design studio do their magic!  It does function in the sense that the lights randomly light up but the buttons don't do anything. Same on Captain Kirk's Chair

A: I'm looking for the exact dimensions but it is actually a standard 2 car garage that has been converted to a home gym with a storage closet on the right. ( you can see the wall unit A/C that cools the space)
