In 2020 we shifted our priorities from designing high-end custom homes to responsibly developing market-rate and affordable housing and will be breaking ground on our first development in 2021. It was a multi-month design process and we greatly enjoyed it - which isn't always the case. > Aamodt and Plumb recently completed a kitchen renovation and the addition of a mudroom as well as some other small projects on our 1928 Arts and Crafts Tudor house. Our experience with them was outstanding. As anyone is, we were nervous that we would hit difficulties and challenges along the way. In fact, we never did. I truly give the credit to the incredible architect and building crew that we had. Andrew, Mette and Helena (the architect and design team) were such a pleasure to work with. They are so personable and easy going. They were always responsive within the day (usually within the hour, actually) and so easy to work with. They give wonderful ideas but are also open to the homeowner's creativity and ideas. This was the perfect combination for us as we had many creative ideas and the team was able to make plans that could make these ideas come to life. They have a clean and simple eye and helped us to create a modern but soft and natural look. They know their products (flooring, appliances, woods, cabinetry) very well and were able to steer us to high quality yet reasonable goods. We were most impressed by their ability to stay on time and money track and being incredibly respectful of both of these areas. We had a very tight time frame and they were able to perfectly work within it. We always felt prioritized and attended to. It's an overwhelming process having a renovation and /or addition and Aamodt and Plumb made is more pleasant and easy than we could have imagined.

> Aamodt/Plumb did excellent design and oversight work in a major remodelling and renovation of our home. The project was very complex, given the rather oddly eclectic nature of the property, which had been built on to in rather awkward ways over several decades. The design ideas produced by the principles were uniformly excellent, and typically innovative, unexpected, and interesting -- producing an impressive overall aesthetic effect. They also ensured that our relationship with contractors, structural engineers, and other relevant parties was productive and congenial, and were exceptionally helpful in guiding us threw the labyrinthe taks of choosing materials, appliances, and the like. Problems that arose along the way were efficiently and considerately dealt with. Our son is himself an architect with very exacting standards. He recommended Aamoft/Plumb to us. We are very glad that he did.
