It was a custom job with some difficult wall angles. The quality of the install was outstanding. Some doors were damaged in shipment and replaced with no issues. When there was an issue on how to enclose the refrigerator, they worked with us to make sure everything was installed to our satisfaction. Highly recommend this company. **Q: What type of tile is used** *(in Photo Questions)*

This is very nice!

A: Thank you! The homeowner  sourced her own tile on this job and regretfully I do not have a record of specifics on tile.

**Q: What color are the countertops?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I'm putting in gray cabinets w oak floor and would like to be able to tie in floor and rubbed bronze pedants and faucet - desperate for suggestions for countertop and other thoughts!

A: This counter top is granite and the color is White Galaxy, but please note that different distributors have differing names to the same stone.

**Q: Beautiful kitchen.** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the wall to wall width and window wall to outside of peninsula length of this lovely kitchen? My wife and I are having a "discussion" about having an island vs. a peninsula (I'm in favor of a peninsula). Thank you.

A: From the wall behind the ovens to the wall behind the cooktop is 11 feet. From the window wall to the back side of the peninsula is 13 feet 6 inches. In general, if you are trying to fit an island, we recommend no less than 42" from the island to the next closest barrier. 36" is the ABSOLUTE  minimum but we find it difficult to work in that space. 42"-48" is ideal.

**Q: What make and model is the roman tub faucet?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I have a client who fell in love with that faucet from a photo the photographer had posted on their Houzz page - any chance you remember the brand/model?  Much appreciated!

A: Hi! I apologize for my delayed reply. Our homeowner actually sourced that directly so I do not have that information sadly.

**Q: need kitchen countertop help** *(in Design Dilemma)*

My new cabinets in Benjamin Moore Yarmouth Blue are being constructed. I live on a tiny island in the Bahamas, and have no samples, so I have to choose a countertop and backsplash over the internet. I have decided on quartz, and really like Cambria Brittanicca for the countertop, but I am worried that it is too grey for the Yarmouth Blue. Help? Backsplash ideas also welcome!

A: can you get a sample sent to you from the manufacturer or whomever will be fabricating your top (they make small ones that are like 3" squares in cambria)? even if postage to you is relatively expensive, it's way less expensive than hating your tops once they are installed.

**Q: Dark kitchen** *(in Design Dilemma)*

We renovated a 1920 house, first experience , left much up to contractor, however the kitchen is DARK, and long, just don't know how to make it warm and cozy. The doors to the left of the photo is a pantry, the doors to the right have the washer & dryer, and half bath. I have the table there is break up the kitchen,  but it bugs me, thinking a round table would be better, or maybe nothing. Any advice would be great



We went with black appliances , but didn't realize that the window would be so small, with little natural light.

A: Under cabinet lighting will make a huge difference and also give you good task lighting while working in your kitchen. There are lots of LED options that look great and are easy to install. You might also try switching out the bulbs in the recessed cans in the ceiling for some that will give you better, brighter light.
