The firm is extremely innovative and very client-focused. One of our favorite projects was at our house on Cape Cod, where they added a master bedroom and bathroom. Our builder had said that he didn't think we had the space/roofline to add a master. McKay Architects found a way - using a special dormer that took advantage of extra, open space above our kitchen that created a 400 square foot bedroom/bath with spectacular views replacing a 125 square foot bedroom with no view. Truly amazing. The builders said they loved working with Mike and his team. They also designed a fabulous pool house that still has people pulling over to take pictures from the side of the road.
