Before meeting John, we had consulted a few other designers and felt it never clicked. When we showed up at John’s unassuming showroom, we were instantly drawn to his vision and quick wit. We told him our preference for a sense of open space and the limitations (for example, though the kitchen is large (i.e. normal sized) – because of the configuration, we can only have a small island) and he worked out a plan exactly as we have hoped for. > > John came up with a couple interesting ideas that turned out to be very practical too: (1) kitchen island with curves; (2) cabinets that “hide” the fridge and are wonderfully providing usable space! There is much more in his design but I believe a lot details are a matter of personal preference – and you just need to convey your message to him clearly. > > Our installer Gerry is John’s business partner and he did a great job too.
