> My husband I worked with Brigitte on 4 different projects. It started with the renovation of our kitchen and bathroom in a suburban home in 2002. When we moved into the city, Brigitte again helped us update an office/media center in 2010 (tall oak cabinets and media center to include a 54 inch TV), followed by the kitchen/bar and master bathroom update in the condo in 2011 (all new cabinetry, appliances, tile). Brigitte had pictures of this project taken and it was published in the magazine, Kitchen and Bath Design News in April 2013 (Vol 31, Number 4, page 50, bottom of the page). Then finally, she helped us update our fireplace surround and build book shelves in 2013 (all new cabinetry and tile with eco-fuel fireplace).

> My search for a kitchen designer ended when I saw more than I could ever dream possible in one of Brigitte's designs.  With a budget of $250,000, we took my kitchen down to the studs, took down walls, added high end appliances, and did a complete makeover.  My home is 250 miles away from her office so the job was a long distance one. Throughout the project, Brigitte was right there.  Her efforts started with the design and she held my hand until the last carpenter left.  When people come over, they can't believe it is the same house and no one has ever seen the details, designs and colors along with functionality that my kitchen has.  I bake my own breads and make my own pasta...I have a baker's table and lots of room for everything I need to do.  Now when I look at super fancy  kitchen remodel magazines, I compare the pictures to what I have and to this day I say, "Yep, I like mine better!"

**Q: Where can you get the island?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Where can you or who made the island?

A: The island is from Habersham Furniture.  It is a standard piece in their line, but we did modify it somewhat for this space.

cabinet wood?

A: This is quarter sawn oak with a light stain.  The black portions are painted hickory with rub-through technique.

**Q: Oval tile brand** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the brand and name of the beautiful irridescent, white, mother-of-pearl oval tile that you used?

A: This is white shell oval tiles from Artistic Tile.  It is 1/8" thick, so very thin, but stunning!

**Q: What type of floor tile is this and what is the color?** *(in Photo Questions)*

What type of floor tile is this and what is the color?

A: It is slate in various sizes.  The coloring is dependent on the lot, this happened to be in pale blue/gray family.
