She was great - she met with us multiple times, listened to all of our priorities, and helped us scale the appropriate size addition to make sure we had our must-haves. She helped us maximize our floor plan to eliminate wasted space and maximize storage. She gave us a floorplan with tons of natural light, and tied in the addition to our existing brick Colonial house perfectly. She also came up with some very unique ideas on layout to help us determine how to make our bathrooms as functional as possible. Highly recommend.

Her ideas for reconfiguring the space gave us an open kitchen, a walk-in pantry, an office area and a dedicated laundry room. She also enlarged both of our bathrooms by removing two small walls and giving us an updated layout.  Christine was always professional, easy to work with and responded quickly to any questions, concerns or changes. She helped us through the contractor selection. It was covered in mold, trees were growing out of the fireplace and duct work, and the roof was caving in.  When a house is in that bad of shape, it becomes a challenge to even envision what can be done.  Christine had wonderful ideas that modernized the house, while still protecting the Mid-Century feel and what Goodman brought to the original architecture.  Christine went above and beyond guiding us through the neighborhood Design Review Committee and helped us immeasurably with the County on permitting.  I cannot recommend her enough.

> I am a builder of custom homes and large scale renovations. I have done numerous jobs with Christine over the years. As a builder, one of the most critical parts of the construction process is that the plans are technically correct and clear for all of the required contractors and suppliers that perform work on the project. Christine does a great job in this respect, this helps both budget and timeline stay on track. We have worked on projects ranging from a historically correct Craftsman total renovation (circa 1920 original house) to a Contemporary waterfront home. These projects were complicated structures that also demanded architectural integrity to the original design. Both of these projects turned out beautiful and with more than happy owners. I have done other projects with Christine of varying difficulty and she has always delivered a great product to build from. I would highly recommend her for anyone looking for an architect that is skillful and enjoyable to work with.

Where can I find the half moon or segment pediment with the dentil trim!?

The trim work over the door is original to the house. You may be able to find something similar through Architectural Depot or you can have a mill worker construct one for you. Good luck with your project.  Christine
