> Ivana is a very inspired professional who managed a huge renovation skillfully and the results are spectacular. She listened to my husband and my desires and managed to mediate and come up with ideas that made us both happy! Ivana is passionate about what she does and has excellent contacts and can find the perfect materials whether for tile for the back splash or material for curtains. She designed our kitchen and the bathroom and everything is perfect in terms of looks, storage, usability and cost.

## Community Q&A

**Q: I want my kitchen to look more modern/contemporary** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Please help me with my kitchen cabinets. I'm trying to figure out what to do (paint? Replace?) to make it look less traditional and more modern/contemporary. I've included close up pictures of the cabinet details as well as photos of adjoining rooms. The gray on the wall is BM Seahaze. Thank you!

A: Here is an old project of mine, very traditional cabinetry painted a dark grey. You should change your handles to the ikea grade! without the round backs. Also you might want to box up ( gyprock) the space  above the upper cabinet.
