Can you tell me what kind of wood these cabinets are?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: Thank you! The wood is quarter sawn walnut. Clear finish, no stain. The doors are solid too, not engineered. **Q: Is the glass railing custom?** *(in Photo Questions)* I am looking to install a glass railing on my deck and would like to know if this is a custom railing or prefabricated. Any thoughts on quality prefabricated glass and steel railing? A: This is a standard aluminum railing with tempered glass, they did a little custom work to accommodate angles. I would stay away from steel railings myself, steel rusts, aluminum does not. Not a big difference in material costs between aluminum and steel. If the installation is done well, quality prefab packages look great! **Q: range hood** *(in Photo Questions)* who makes it and style please. thank you A: The hood fan in the photo is a Faber, but the Futuro fans look great too. **Q: Gorgeous view** *(in Photo Questions)* What is the backsplash made of? It looks like plastic or maybe tile, I can't really tell. Also what is the source for the backsplash and who makes the vent hood? A: Backsplash is a full body, finger mosaic, porcelain tile from Italy. Sorry cannot remember the tile manufacturer, bought from a wholesaler(retail is $75 per sq ft.), more affordable options these days. Venthood is a Faber. **Q: Nice Color Combo** *(in Photo Questions)* What are the colors on the wall and is that porcelain floor tile 12 x 12? A: I just did some hunting on the Benjamin Moore site for you, the wall colors are grey-AF720 Sparrow, and white-AF35 Vapour.
