Anyone needing help with colour should call the expert! Janice does colour like no one else. She has been helping clients  - residential, commercial, institutional - for two decades. Janice's consultations help people make the right colour and design choices - saving time, money and the misery of mistakes. She listens, interprets and transforms.
She does not just decorate with colour, she renovates!

 What makes her work special? She knows colour from a great depth starting with her studies in art history, her studio work and theatre design background. She has researched colour for years and written about colour and design for publications including House and Home and the Globe and Mail. She has written a 400 page book 'All About Colour' and given talks about colour and design across the continent. She developed her Power of Colour Workshop to teach designers and architects about colour. and how to use it. For 5 years she was an international colour consultant with PPG and helped them develop their latest colour system.

> I have used Janice on three different projects over the course of 10 years, and continue to use her because she is able to elevate an ordinary project to something special.  Most recently I asked her to help with a third floor renovation.  I already had the architect drawings and a contractor, but felt that there was something missing in the plans.  I wanted storage, and couldn’t figure where my bed would be placed in the new master bedroom.  Janice came in with fresh eyes and re-imagined the whole space, giving it not just function, but personality.  The changes she suggested had huge impacts, such as making our bedroom door opening double-sized and converting the door to a barn door.    This created a large opening onto our stair landing, making the master bedroom feel much larger and brighter than it is.
