We basically took the inside of the house down to bare walls. We really liked the design process. Once the design was done, we met with our designer once a week to pick things out. One time it might be appliances and the next might be flooring. Because of the scope of the project, it took about 6 months from start of design to start of construction. It was nice not to be rushed and overwhelmed by the decisions that had to be made. Dodson accommodated our wish to stay in the house during the remodel. They split the process into two phases by doing half the house at a time while we lived in the other half. All the people who came into the house were nice and courteous and cleaned up at the end of the day. There were problems and one was major in my opinion but when pointed out were corrected.
