After hearing horror stories from friends where contractors where hard to get hold of or essentially pushed you to pick something you did not, we had the exact opposite experience. Gary, his architect Chris, his project manager, and a team of sub-contractors came to actually look at the house with us in lieu of an inspection and found asbestos in the heating vents that was not even known to the seller. They squeezed our reno into a tight timeline but did not sacrifice quality and still were budget conscious. We added on scope to the project and they pivoted with grace. We had very specific tastes and wants and they tried things they had never done before but pulled them off like they had been doing it for years. After we had access to our kitchen, our dishwasher had an issue and leaked water - Gary answered the phone call on the second ring on Thanksgiving night and sent someone to figure out the issue the next morning. I still feel like I can call them and they would be there.
