It's been hard for me to make design choices but I think the materials I have chosen will look great. Just when I thought my mind could rest, my contractor (whom I trust with my life) asks if I am tiling the ceiling of the bath/shower combo area. He has already got put the cement board up for it. I have never seen a tiled ceiling in the shower, he says he always does this for mold/stain prevention in all the bathrooms he does and he does a lot of them. I can't picture this, any thoughts, good or bad idea design wise? Help? A: Most defiantly tile the shower ceiling, Not only does it make practical sense as far as moisture but creates a beautiful streamlined luxurious effect. **Q: At a loss on how to arrange this room.** *(in Design Dilemma)* I want to move the TV from above the mantle, it doesn't look right here it's too high. I am not sure where to put it and if I should move the couch? My walls are empty. Would like to paint the room also, maybe BM revere pewter. A: I would designate the wall to the right of the fireplace for the TV and move the larger sofa under the window. Just adding a large media console with some floating shelves would fill it in nicely. Or you can do a complete wall like the one shown. Let the fireplace be it own separate focal point, possibly a mirror or a large piece of art. **Q: I need help with updating my kitchen ....I want yo change the countert** *(in Design Dilemma)* Thanks ! A: I would consider continuing the wood floors into the kitchen, It will make the overall look streamlined and your new counters will be more of the focus. A white granite with hints of the floor color would be something to consider. **Q: Do I need a headboard against my master barn wood accent wall?!** *(in Design Dilemma)* This is my wall and with the help of other houzzee's we came up with this bedding...these curtains... Still need nightstand ideas also! Xoxo...Shel A: The wall is fabulous, I would suggest a different element to go with all the organic features. A mirrored chest or a metal table as in the photo below would work well.
