She impressed us from the start when she spent most of our first meeting trying to understand each of our preferences and what we'd look for in our homes. By not dropping names or showing off her knowledge, she was able to truly win our trust early on. Her detailed plan for our apartment with recommendations and options for wall colors, furniture options, stores to pick from and design layout were very helpful and we ended up going with almost everything she recommended. Whenever we had ideas or questions, she was patient, open-minded, and always made herself available. This was the best part about the collaboration -- it didn't feel like a one-way street. She really listened to our inputs and gave us something we felt comfortable with. The apartment is now almost fully set-up and we LOVE coming home every evening. We can't recommend Deepti enough! A: Hi Ashley - The couch is custom-made in charcoal grey performance velvet **Q: SOS...EXPOSED BEAMS HELP NEEDED!** *(in Design Dilemma)* My husband and I are purchasing this home. I can't stand seeing writing/stamping on the exposed beams, any suggestions? The materials are wood and TJI Joists.... A: You can either paint the ceiling in white to blend all the beams with the room.
