Evolution Design Build Group's main goal is to help our clients realize their dreams through creative design and construct to reality.
Evolution Design Build Group was established with the premise that the combination of quality materials, attention to detail and top-notch craftsmanship would lead to a superior finished product for clients. Our goal at Evolution is to build long-term relationships with our clients, subcontractors, architects, and designers while producing a product we are proud to build and believe in!

Sustainability means meeting the needs of today without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs. Sustainable & Green Construction aims to apply this principle to the construction industry by providing ways of buildings that use less virgin material and less energy, cause less pollution and less waste, but still provide the benefits that construction and remodeling projects have brought our society throughout history.

At Evolution, we do not simply pitch the green angle, but we believe in the practice of sustainable, green construction and remodeling so passionately that we live and practice it in our lives and community. From working with Habitat for Humanity, Habitat Restore and other reputable recycle/ reuse organizations, Evolution has donated thousands of dollars in reusable and recycled materials. Scott and Kelsey have been recognized as large-volume contributors to Habitat Restore, donating over $500,000+ in high quality recycled materials for reuse by other contractors and home remodelers and do-it-yourself homeowners.

Sustainable living, construction and healthy lifestyle are priorities here at Evolution. It is about improving the quality of life, healthier living spaces and keeping our business locally owned and operated. From raising money for the community, grass roots campaigns and attending or donating to various organizations, we are part of the community, not just providing quality products and services. We have children in the schools too, you may see us at a school function, racing bikes or casually strolling around Park City. If you see us, stop and say hello, we’d love get to know you too!

### Reviews

**★★★★ — Hillary Benjamin, May 2020**

> I was warned about how difficult / stressful a renovation was. However, all the stress was self induced (so many choices in tile!). I was in great hands with Evo. Dave and Scott are pros, and more importantly, honest and trustworthy. My advice would be that regardless of who you're working with, it's up to the homeowner to remain diligent and ask lots of questions to stay on top of the project. In my case, Scott and Dave were equal partners in being accountable.

**★★★★★ — Margot McKee, Feb. 2020**

> We used Evolution to do a complete renovation of our Park City home, and would highly recommend them to others. They had innovative ideas (opening walls, moving laundry to create a mud space, moving furnaces to create storage closets/more space, etc.). Everyone at the company was a pleasure to work with. A+ team

**★★★★★ — M and B Stafford, Aug. 2019**

> Exterior remodel to remove shingles, replace with Hardiplank and install trellis' for pergola's over the living and master decks over a period of about 2.5 months. Evolution Design Build Group and their contractors are ethical, conscientious, accurate, efficient professionals. They respected us and our home while working and were friendly and polite. Evolution provided excellent construction services through the project. They were easy to work with and willing to answer all of our questions throughout the process. The interface (superintendent) with the respective subcontractors and with the actual performance of demo activities and install of new materials was timely and efficient. We would certainly work with Evolution Design Build Group again.

**★★★★★ — C Clarke, April 2019**

> We hired Evolution for our bathroom remodel and I was impressed from start to finish with how organized the entire team was, the reliably present project manager every step of the way, as well as the high quality of the work. The work area was left clean every night and it was always easy to reach the pm whenever we had questions, or wanted to make a change. The communication was excellent. We would hire them again and already have plans to in the near future.

**★★★★★ — Mac Brown, March 2019**

> Evolution Design Build Group did an amazing job on our addition and finished right on schedule. I highly recommend their work.

**★★★★★ — Dana Brewster, March 2017**

> Evolution is made up of a dynamic team that is professional, personable, and cohesive. The team works seamlessly with the sub contractors and suppliers to ensure quality work in a timely manner. I would recommend Evolution without hesitation.

**★★★★★ — Gregg Ostrander, March 2017**

> Evolution Design + Build was easy to work with. They did a great job of coordinating subs, material, delivery, and completion of the project on a very tight schedule. They were very responsive when issues arose, open communication, and solid follow through to make sure we, as clients, were satisfied.

**★★★★★ — amandakanderson, June 2016**

> Evolution has done some substantial repair work for us on our rental home and we enjoyed working with them so much that they are set to begin a massive remodel for us in September. Scott and his team are extremely professional, on time and very honest. We couldn't be happier!

**★★★★★ — alanreighard, Feb. 2016**

> Scott and his team built a new den/office onto the second floor of our house with a new porch also. I challenged them to make sure it did not look like an addition because it is on the front of the house. They were easy to work with, flexible when changes arose and were great craftsman. I fully trusted their sub-contractors also. And you can not tell that the new room was added more than a decade after the house was built - it looks great!

**★★★★★ — sherry, Feb. 2016**

> Scott and his team remodeled my bath. Actually they did two baths a lent a hand in the pantry. The results are exactly what I had in mind. His crews were skilled and meticulous and he managed them well. Every night the rest of the house looked normal and usable. I can't say enough about them and the work they did.

**★★★★★ — Heather Horsley, Dec. 2015**

> The replaced my siding, installed new windows, insulated my house, painted the outside of my house, replaced my windows, put on a new roof, did some electrical work, and installed a new fireplace with built in cabinets.

**★★★★★ — Steve, Nov. 2015**

> Evolution Design is easy to work with, we have the pleasure working with Scott and his design team this year. They have high standards, great client inter face and keep their jobs on track.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Bathtub** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you please share bathtub details?

A: It is “Bain Ultra Scala tub 6638” from Standard Plumbing 😊

**Q: Love the tile! Where is it from?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I’m looking for tile with black and brass.

A: Tile is from tabarka studio 😊

**Q: Love the wall tile in the bathroom.** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you tell me where it is from?

A: Tabarka Studio 😊

**Q: Paint color** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the white color of wall paint in the photos? Is ceiling same color?

A: Walls & Ceiling are the same. The Paint color is Brushed Silver by Benjamin Moore.

**Q: under the stairs** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Help! what can i put under stairs? I hate to see it left empty but i have no idea.

A: It depends what you're after. We have installed drawer systems in homes that are lacking storage. It can get pricey. You could open a triangular opening following the stair slope and trim it out.

**Q: Tile/Hardwood Transition help** *(in Design Dilemma)*

We will be doing our front hallway in tile (currently hardwood). There is one step to the living room which is carpeted and runs though the living room. We will be re-doing the living room in hardwood (currently the carpeted spot). Not sure what to do with the step. Tile it? Hardwood it? Keep the carpet on the step? Help!

A: Wood tread for sure. Just as important is I'd suggest installing the wood riser 1st and tiling to. This will eliminate seeing the wood seam from the front.
