We bought a house at the beginning of the COVID pandemic in 2020, and the house desperately needed a paint update and some minor cosmetic touch-ups (so we thought). I received her name from a friend of mine, who was also working with her. Amber met with me a few times to understand my style and the look I was trying to achieve. She spent considerable time ensuring the new paint scheme/palate worked well together, and that the atmosphere while moving throughout the house was consistent and flowed. In a time of uncertainty, she was able to secure contractors to do the work we needed and started right away. It took nearly a year to complete everything we wanted to do (paint, renovate master bedroom and master bathroom). Eventually we ended up completely renovating the kitchen mid-project and she worked with our spontaneity and knew exactly how to approach it mid-project.. Amber acted as a designer, a consultant, and project manager at times. She was always ensuring the crews followed through with the paint schedules and design and if they made a mistake or something needed touching up, she made sure they fixed it. In the end, what she did with our house was pure magic and it almost feels like we are in a totally new house even though it was built in the late 1800's!. Our "meilleure chambre" is our Whiskey Room, a moody room dressed from head to toe in black. I thought Amber might think I was crazy for wanting to paint a room in black, and give it a sort of swanky, speakeasy vibe, but she was all for it, even excited, and helped us choose the perfect paint color and furniture style for the desired effect we wanted in the room.
