He is the most dependable contractor I have ever worked with - he shows up when he says he is going to and is very good about communicating with me. He and his crew clean up every day after they are done. And they are fast! We did my master bath in about 2.5 weeks which included moving around all the plumbing, adding pocket doors, and creating a walking shower with a window. In addition to all that, he has good aesthetic sense and can give helpful suggestions about the renovation designs. This included a total renovation of 3 and a half bathrooms , a completely new kitchen, newly sanded hardwood floors, new carpeting, new recessed lighting in several rooms, and new paint throughout. We needed a quick turn around because the real estate market was turning. Nelson completed the work quickly and the quality was helpful to us being able to obtain the highest sales price in the townhouse development. The renovations included the bathroom, the kitchen and all of the flooring throughout the condo. The work included extensive electrical reworking, plumbing and relocating the gas line to the stove. In addition he installed ceramic floors throughout, a ceramic shower with seat to replace the tub and new vanity. He also ripped out the old kitchen and installed new cabinets, quartz countertops, a ceramic tile backsplash, new plumbing fixtures and appliances. Finally, he painted the entire condo. We could not be more pleased with the work that Nelson and his crews did. All of the work was first rate from the drywall to cabinetry, the ceramic work, to the painting. His plumbing and electrical contractors also did great work too. Our condo was inspected by the City Of Falls Church building inspectors and passed with flying colors. He also did the work for the price he quoted us. We were so pleased we actually paid him more than the contract amount as a bonus for doing such a great job.
