My daughter and I recently built a house in Montauk, Long Island, New York. My daughter researched and we made an appointment with Forst Construction in East Hampton. Forst has a family history of building in the area and an excellent reputation. Michael Forst kept us in contact and called to discuss options during construction. His crew kept the work area safe as I visited the site sporadically, since I live in another state. He kept us up on progress. He was very careful with safety of his workers, and kept the worksite organized. > The most amazing thing about the entire experience is Michael's ability to design the we wanted. My daughter and I spent several hours at Michael's office to discuss the house design we wanted. He showed us materials and took pages of notes. When Michael told us the plans were finished, I returned to East Hampton to review the plans. After we finished the review, he asked what we wanted changed. the answer was NOTHING! He had listed to what we wanted, and drew the plans!I don't know anyone else who has had an experience like this. > As construction took place, we were notified. While installing the septic system in the lawn and texted a picture of a huge bolder that. He asked what we thought of the boulder, and suggested using it in the landscape.
