Land development and residential new construction in the greater Houston area is what Russ Walker has done the past 14 years. He has conducted all facets of several landmark development projects in some of Houston’s most prestigious and active neighborhoods. Developing land, managing the civil engineering challenges, creating a sense of place and setting the stage for construction to begin sets Russ apart from other builders.

Russ has studied and participated in conference with some of the best construction science experts in North America thru The Energy & Environmental Building Alliance (EEBA). He is an active member of the Greater Houston Builders Association, Texas Builders Association, and the National Home Builders Association. Russ has completed the requirements and has been recognized by the National Association of Home Builders as a Graduate Master Builder and a Certified Green Builder.

Above all, Russ has a unique ability to communicate with clients, architects, engineers, trades, and suppliers in a way that maximizes cooperation for each successful project. Russ brings a straight forward approach to business and construction; having managed over 50 single family infill homes ranging from $450,000 to $3,000,000. Russ attended Stephen F. Austin State University State University after completing 4 years at an Episcopal Prep school in Virginia. Russ, his wife Rachael and their three children currently live in the Memorial area.

> Very disappointed with the work and the quality of the materials. So much hassles to deal with fixing this so called luxury new construction house. It is definitely worth not even one star rating.

> I am really unhappy with the new construction house that was priced high but equipped with cheap materials including malfunction appliances. Roof is built without ventilation that motivates mold to build up. Roof shingles are topped on the roof without the initial layers before shingles are put on top. Electric wires are cheap and the electrical system is built incorrectly that makes lights fixtures flicks. Appliances are hooked up incorrectly so when they are used together they would trigger the  circuit breaker switch off. They claim to build customize home but Walker Residential Builder hires cheap contractors and are not putting in the right quality as well as the known good builders. I extremely do not recommend the builder unless you want to waste your money.

> I incurred additional expenses and had to address issues beyond the common ones typically associated with new constructions.
> -Within the first few years, I encountered significant problems with major appliances, including HVAC, AC, refrigerator, hot water heater, and cooking range. The cost of labor to fix these issues was substantial. Despite the builder’s claim of using reputable brands for appliances, most of them failed.
> -During the Blue Tape walkthrough, it’s crucial not to blindly trust. We marked building issues with blue tape, but the builder addressed only a few of them. They removed the rest of the blue tapes, hoping the buyer wouldn’t verify the completeness. Unfortunately, these issues persisted through several rounds of walkthroughs.
> -It’s essential to double-check whether the described property features or installations are truly present in the house.
> -The builder’s plumber intentionally set the hot water level low, prompting the buyer to call for repairs.
