**★★★★★ — Keystone Granite, Dec. 2017**

> We are Buttrum's granite fabricators. We started doing there work in August of 2016. We have done over 18 jobs for them in just over a year in a half. They are one of the most professional builders that I have worked for. Cliff the superintendent is amazing and pays close attention to detail and is always on time with his timetable. Chad is amazing and always knows exactly whats going on. If I were building home, these guys would definitely be my choice.

**★★★★ — Lisa del Valle, July 2017**

> Nice floor plan. Worked through some detail issues regarding finish work. Overall good quality. Happy with the end result. Would recommend to others considering builders.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Help ! Hideous area as you come downstairs.** *(in Design Dilemma)*

What to do? I would appreciate some sound advice on what to do here.
Thank you.

A: I think the biggest factor is adding light to the room, possibly recessed cans. Add some simple artwork. Depending on your style, we lean to neutral paint colors, but if you like warm colors I wouldn't worry about painting. Unless its been ten years since painted... It looks like you have low ceilings, so the more items your have in a room the smaller it will be. I personally would add a small table with one or two decorative items on it and perhaps the mirrors above. Create a focal point and help balance the room. I would keep it simple.

**Q: You all solved my flooring in this room- -what color for the walls?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Hi-

You all put me on the right path to more of a Hamptons/Modern Farmhouse space here- by suggesting I put in bluestone ceramic tile-- its done! The ceiling in this very large room (37x22') is white shiplap; the plantation shutters more of an warm white-ivory, and the floor now a dark grey /bluestone . The Fireplace is going to be remodeled to a shiplap structure with a natural beam. The question is the paint color. My gut says to go with a warm white to match shutters, both on the trim, walls and wainscoting. My husband is afraid it will look too stark. I am also considering outlining the frames of the windows in a dark grey or black (since much of the furniture is black). Thoughts ? Guidance? The white samples are BM Acadia White and Seashell; the grey sample is Revere Pewter.

HELP!

A: I would do the Revere Pewter to break it up and really make the shutters pop. Pewter would allow a smooth transition, instead of one extreme to another. White would not be bad as long as your planning on complimenting the room with furniture or perhaps some wall art. Hope this helps
