Interior design is a journey where the client and the designer create a space that is both beautiful to look at and practical to the client’s lifestyle.

Through my 35 years of design experience I have learned that the key to a successful project is communication. I enjoy the process of getting to know a client to understand their perspective and priorities. It’s really a three way conversation between the home owner, myself, and the space in question. Each has something to say about what’s possible and what’s best.

Through this idea and communication exchange a concept will naturally unfold. I see my job as being a guide for my clients as we walk together down this exciting path of discovery. I offer professional ideas and inspiration as well as suggest options to solve the challenging questions of design.

> Pamela is truly a professional in our field. Her sense of style is applied to each project with an expert eye. As a former designer within a large furniture retailer, she assisted hundreds of shoppers to purchase quality home furnishings from some of America's top manufacturers, including Stickley Furniture. I highly recommend this design colleague.

> Pamela has extensive experience with new house construction and remodels. She is very professional and has incredible knowledge and access to interior design materials. I described the atmosphere I wanted in my home and she translated that into exactly the materials and items that made my home unique. Pamela stayed within budget and always presented a choice of options so I could select what I wanted. It is important to her that her design ideas reflect the personality and feeling of the owners. She easily translated ideas to my general contractor and worked with subcontractors to make our home custom in every detail at an affordable price. I have worked with Pamela on three of my homes over 20 years and continue to consult her on new items. I especially appreciated her on-site arrival at crucial moments and calming demeanor. Pamela's advice made my house a home and was well worth the investment of time and money to hire a professional. Best of all, my husband still says "call Pamela!."

> We have had Pam update and renovate our home in Ashland. This project has been active for 3 years.. She has been invaluable to us during this process.. Her talent, commitment, and professionalism have been excellent. During each phase she has resourced excellent specialists to accomplish these projects with wonderful results. We have been extremely satisfied and would highly recommend her to anyone.

> I have had the pleasure of working with Ms Wilmoth ASID over the span of 10 years on 3 different homes. Very few things in life turn out better than expected but each project was under budget and on time. I count my decision to hire her as one of my best because I now have a home that is suited to my tastes and timelessly elegant. Pam puts ego aside and gives you the home YOU want and keeps a close eye on budget as well as costly details that can be over looked by many designers who do not understand real world costs. Her ability to negotiate and work with many contractors and company's in a professional manner and her reputation for detail is one of many reason why I would hire her again and again. No home detail from exterior paint selections to the selection of appliances drapery and furnishings is not in her realm. I would give her a A+ on each project. Contractors work best when a project is well managed and this in turn reduces cost. It's a win to have something to enjoy like a beautiful home and a win-win when it's under budget! On time, no drama measure twice cut once. Nuff said!!

> Pam was an invaluable resource as we built our home, and then again when we remodeled several years later. She took the time to get to know our preferences and design tastes, and always came up with creative design solutions. She was especially invaluable in conversations with our contractor and workmen -- she understood and spoke both our languages. Pam is a very talented, flexible, professional.

> Pam is knowledgable about the local contractors who do great work and has developed good working relationships that proved to be helpful. She has an excellent eye and enabled me to consider new approaches. I never felt she was pushing her ideas on me...if I was not excited about the direction we were going, she worked with me to find something I was more comfortable with. I would highly recommend Pam as a design partner.

> Pam came into our home after I had seen what she had done for two of my colleagues. She guided us in painting the inside, arranging furniture and pictures as we wanted to be frugal in our updates, and I wanted to gain an understanding of her abilities and knowledge. Pam was exceptional in using her knowledge and experience in updating our home. We trusted her then to help us with a kitchen remodel on our 60’s style home. She was always punctual on her appointments, and following up emails and phone calls. She was open to what we had to say, and in fact, when she first introduced herself, she said her most important job was to listen to the client. My husband and I were impressed and appreciative of her guidance, input and patience as we changed our minds and asked for other options on choices. She stayed within the budget and the timeline. The team (electrician, plumber, cabinet maker, etc) were quality individuals that she had worked with before. They made the remodel easier as they were professional, helpful, and as I asked them their opinions of the remodel job, they were professional and informative. Where Pam made a difference in our project was saving us time in knowing the products that we could choose from, and integrating the remodel into the rest of the house. Family and friends are always remarking what a difference the remodel made to the house, and that it fits the house perfectly. I would not hesitate to call Pam for her opinion and assistance, and have recommended her to many friends. We have full trust in her abilities to assist us in improving our home!
