> Make sure you get it in writing. Tyler and megan are polite and professional in the beginning but dont follow through. They were supposed to remodel office space and they gutted the building and never came back.. find someone besides these immature kids.

> Megan designed a beautiful space in our home from an area that was not used in the first 3 years we lived here. It was a long narrow room with a up and down stairway in the middle.

**Q: Kitchen floor** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the manufacturer and color of the vinyl floor? It looks great.

A: That LVT was from Mohawk I believe. It would have been a commercial grade LVT. I can't remember the exact color, but it is no longer available. The closest to this flooring would be Mannington--Adura Plank--Burma Teak in Butternut

**Q: Help with paint color** *(in Design Dilemma)*

My dining room has one north facing window so it is really dark, need suggestions for paint colors and table runner. I have dark wood dining table and dark brown curtains. Thanks!

A: Is that rug in the room and you want complementing colors?

**Q: Family room wall** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Hi, I would love some ideas on how to design this wall. Ideally the fireplace would be replaced by a low, rectangular fireplace and the TV placed above it. But that's not feasible at this time and it would be way too high above the current fireplace. Any ideas with keeping the TV where it is? I need a place for front speakers at least. I can put AV equipment in a closet nearby. So, built ins? If so, what color? What to do in the alcoves above?

A: I think it would look great if you would remove the builtin above the fireplace, and have it with sleek tile all the way to the ceiling. You could then wall mount your TV an add a mantle if you would like.

**Q: Centering the Sink** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Which looks better?  Should the sink and the mirror (w/sconces) be centered over the vanity doors or over the entire countertop to the left of the tower?

A: I would center around the sink, that gives you more space to center the light fixtures as well

**Q: Update light fixtures** *(in Design Dilemma)*

The light fixtures in the house we just bought are in need of an update....think 90's brass. I would like to purchase fixtures with a timeless appeal but am not sure what finish will give me that look. My taste leans toward oil rubbed bronze but is that finish past its due date? What is currently in style that will ride the wave of trends over the next five or so years?

A: Oil rubbed bronze is NOT past any due date! I see a lot of brushed nickel and oil rubbed bronze as a go to fixture finish. Actually, ORB is the finish that seems to have the most lighting options in the market right now. Here are a couple pictures of fixtures. To give you another idea, I've done a house with white cabinets and ORB hardware and light fixtures and it was a beautiful contrast. Also, bronze has so many variations within itself, as you will see in the pictures as well.
