Everything was great for 3 years until my top oven stopped heating. After two repairmen came to inspect and "fix" my oven, it was determined that the oven had literally burned a hole through the base of the top oven. Heat would escape through the hole and never keep the top oven hot. After raising this issue to Electrolux, they only informed me that I was out of warranty and needed to replace the oven myself. I didnt realize that I would be spending $1000 a year to lease an oven! The Electrolux All fridge and freezer offers a great built in look, at a more affordable price. Many of the reviews aren't favorable however. It's a big commitment to build my cabinets around the 64" opening. I don't want to regret it later. Any advice?? Thanks! I really want a white kitchen, but our Realtor and builder have strongly suggested not to, instead but in a wood finish. Very torn I don't want to make a mistake right off. Did not like the color of the cabinets or the countertops. We could not do a full renovation so we hired someone to paint the cabinets, installed a new countertop, hardware and appliances. Fast forward eight years the paint is starting to yellow and chip in places. After months of research we just signed with a local cabinet company to completely redo our kitchen. With our budget we could not afford to add on space so we decided that we would take advantage of the space that we do have and try to make it our dream kitchen. We decided to go with white shaker cabinets and a Cambria quartz countertop. Our current pantry is pretty much a closet with a basic door. We are having a custom pantry built (one of the features I am most excited about). We are really excited about all of the custom features we were able to add to the cabinets from the trim, crown moulding, pull out shelves, spice drawer, cutlery insert etc. Nervous about the whole process!
