> Chris painted my living room, kitchen, hallway and master bedroom.  His work was excellent.  He was very respectful of my home and animals.  The paint job was exactly what I wanted and turned out even better than I had hoped.  I also mentioned my door knob not working on my front door and he jumped right in and fixed that.  I highly recommend his company.

> Chris and his team built us a deck with privacy walls, two gates and removed a window in the master and installed a door for access to the new deck and hot tub.  They did a fantastic job and the finish work was beautiful.  He offered suggestions and recommended ways to improve the finished project as well as cost saving measures.  Not only were they professional,  curtious and quiet, they were very clean.  They constantly cleaned up after themselfs and ensured nothing was left out or was dirty at the end of the day.  We couldn't be happier with the final results and the entire process was much easier than we anticipated!

> So far, Everyday Remodeling has done work on two houses for me.  The work on the first house included floor repair, laminate flooring installation, ceramic tile installation, wall repair, kitchen repair and new counter tops and interior wall painting.  What started out as a shabby interior in this house, turned into a lovely, inviting home.  Everyday Remodeling gave me a home where I was very pleased and proud of the end results.

> A couple of years ago after I purchased a house in Bend I asked Chris to paint the exterior which was badly in need of TLC from long term lack of care and Bend's special brand of weather abuse.  My house was badly in need of a paint job.  Everyday Remodeling did a painstaking and detailed preparation of the weather worn exterior of the house prior to painting the outside of my house, doing small repairs, pounding in protruding nails and caulking every nail hole.  The painstaking quality of the job is impressive, I still stop to admire the job and I truly appreciate the extra mile they went to prep prior to the paint application.  I believe this paint job will last far longer than regular paint job.  And Chris, I appreciate the advise about the long lasting quality of the Sherwin Williams paint!

> For the 3rd time in 15 years, my husband and I undertook a major home remodel project - each time in a different house.  The first two were in Los Angeles, and the most recent one is in our new home in Eugene, Oregon.  Choosing a contractor was frightening as we were new to the city and could not rely on known sources and recommendations.

## Community Q&A

**Q: How high** *(in Photo Questions)*

How high off the deck floor is your bottom rail? And how much space is between your top rail and the top of the posts?  Thanks!!!

A: In Oregon we can have no more than 4" from the top of the deck to the bottom of the railing. This is also the same for the width of the balusters.
