**Comment from Bigfork Builders, Inc.:**

> Thank you Tracy! Always a pleasure working with you and your team as well. Your work is equally incredible and without subs like you, we wouldn't be who we are today.

**★★★★★ — Glacier Stone Supply, LLC, Oct. 2015**

> We have worked with Bigfork Builders on several projects. They are quality builders who give great attention to every phase. It is a pleasure working with them on both small and large projects.

**★★★★★ — Quantum Windows & Doors, March 2015**

> We had the pleasure of working with the crew from Bigfork Builders on the Stone Creek Camp project by Andersson-Wise Architects. It is not always an easy thing to painstakingly hand craft products only to ship them off to a job site to be installed by another crew. In the hands of the Bigfork crew, however, we were completely confident that our windows and doors would be professionally installed. The result has been an unrivaled architectural work of art, and we welcome the opportunity to work with Bigfork again.

**★★★★★ — Dave's Plumbing, Inc., Jan. 2015**

> Working with the Bigfork Builders team is a great experience. There is always someone on the job to handle any questions that arise. Potential problems are handled well before there is a crisis. The owners receive a quality job with the utmost attention to detail.
> Our specific work involved 15 zones of radiant heat, heated by geothermal wells. We also provided the plumbing roughin and fixtures, picked by the owners.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Can you tell me about the hardwood flooring?** *(in Photo Questions)*

What species is it and what stain and finish was used? Is it a solid wood or engineered hardwood? Thanks!

A: Thank you for your continued interest in the project Pati. The flooring is a mixture of reclaimed fir and larch hardwood and it was supplied by Wildwood Eccentrics of Whitefish, MT. The floor finish was done by Timberline WoodFloors of Bigfork, MT and it was customized on site to the homeowners preference. I have included Houzz.com links for Wildwood Eccentrics and Timberline WoodFloors below in case you would like to contact them for additional information.

**Q: French Doors** *(in Photo Questions)*

I toured this home on the Parade of Homes and it's my favorite house of all time. I'm building now and hoping to incorporate french doors like the ones in the hallway. Where did they come from. I'm having trouble locating doors that size. Is that a 3 foot or 4 foot doorway?

A: Thank you for your question Pati. The doorway in this picture measured three foot in width and the French doors were custom made by Swan River Door Company in Bigfork, Montana. You can find their contact information under "Find a Pro" on Houzz.com using the following link http://www.houzz.com/pro/jeff-matern/swan-river-door-company.

**Q: I love the variation of color in the wood siding.** *(in Photo Questions)*

Did you stain the siding different colors or is that the natural colors of the reclaimed wood?

A: Thank you for your question Pati. It is the natural color of the reclaimed wood, which was sealed with Columbia Paint & Coatings Woodtech Exterior Oil.

**Q: Windows** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you tell me what brand windows are in this house. And I am trying to determine if they are casement or sliding windows. Thanks.

A: Thank you for your inquiry Pati. They are hand made, push-out, casement windows, which were manufactured by La Loma Windows & Doors. I've included a website link for the Big Mountain Glass & Windows showroom in Whitefish, Montana where we purchased the windows. You can find Big Mountain Glass & Windows and La Loma Windows & Doors under Pros on Houzz.com using the following links as well. Big Mountain Glass & Windows on Houzz LaLoma Windows & Doors on Houzz http://bigmountainglass.com/laloma.html.

**Q: Cabinets** *(in Photo Questions)*

Who made the cabinets? Thanks!

A: They were built by Jim Zielanski of Montana Cabinet & Canoe, LLC in Bigfork, Montana. You can contact him by phone at (406) 837-4185, under Find A Pro on Houzz at http://www.houzz.com/pro2/montanacabinetcanoellc1dad2fc/montana-cabinet-canoe-llc, or on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/Montana-Cabinet-Canoe-314554155307113/. Thanks for your interest.

**Q: what stain did you use on the exterior?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: We used Columbia Paints WoodTech Clear on the reclaimed, hand-hewn siding shown in this photo.
