Are they wind and hurricane impact resistant? Price? Thanks! A: Thank you for your question. The doors and transom for this project were built to a custom size. A typical industry standard for a setup like this (6/0x6/8) would measure 74"x81-15/16" BOX SIZE (not rough opening) and the transom would be 74"x37". This unit shown can be made hurricane rated (in either Impact or non-impact) according to Florida or Miami-Dade code standards. If the setup is made and installed as shown, it would have 2 separate testing NOA's. If we were to put the transom directly on the door unit, it would have 1 NOA. (NOA is the industry shorthand for "Notice Of Acceptance" by the state code requirement(s).
