> Carol Davis is the best designer I have ever worked with. She is very professional & has a great capability to grasp exactly what the client is looking for. She helped me to furnish living & dining room at a very good cost including Custom furniture & Fabrics. She further showed me exactly how to arrange the furniture; along with tips for accessories. I will definitely continue to work with Carol.

> Carol was extremely helpful. She listened we'l; quickly learning what my wife and I wanted, liked, disliked, etc. She was very patient throughout and helped us find exactly what we wanted, helping us understand why some things made sense and some things that may have caught our eye didn't make sense.
>
> I then recommended Carol to a friend who came back with glowing feedback as well. So she has proven consistency as well.

## Community Q&A

**Q: neutral white paint suggestions, Ben Moore** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I’m looking for a white with both yellow and grey undertones. Looking at paint chips makes me dizzy!!

A: Why? There are so many wonderful colors, choose anything but white

**Q: Landscaping Design, Front Door Walkway Advice** *(in Landscape Design)*

Hi,

Advice needed for landscaping design. Let me start off by saying I have zero gardening skills but I'm looking for a simple spruce up to our walk way that leads to the front door.

I'm in Florida; so advice on colorful easy to maintain plants that I can replace the ones seen in the pictures (that came with the house) with would be welcomed. A bonus would be colorful plants that don't attract mosquitoes which I'm a magnet for.

A: I think a variety of flowing grass , blowing and arching over walk will soften the space, maintenance free and many lovely colors to blend together

**Q: need help and evry idea for decoration** *(in Design Dilemma)*

A: You've got potential, just needs to be tweaked!
The sky light covering is too small. You need to get a Honeycomb shade to properly fit and it will allow the light to filter through but not be harsh.
Angle the sofa so the person on the wall side does not hit their head when standing.
What is the Teal drape hiding?, what is it's purpose. If you must use it, then paint the walls a much lighter version of that color, perhaps BM Beach Glass, that will warm up the space and still work with the gray carpet
hope this helps

**Q: Need Paint Help** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I have a gray sectional that is in my front room. I am unsure of what colour I should paint the walls. Any suggestions
My plan is to change the carpet to hardwood most likely a dark flooring.

A: Painting colors have to take into consideration all the things you cannot change....like flooring, cabinets, counter tops, furniture and especially how much light your space gets. If you are in Amberly as one posts indicated, I live next door and would be happy to offer my services. If not, I suggest a lighter not dark floor as you need some contrast to the large dark gray sectional. Walls could be a BM Beach Glass for a lovely feeling in your room.

**Q: Painting our house** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I would like to use two Benjamin Moore gray colors together. Light and a dark accent wall. Any suggestions for a combination?

A: I agree photos are a must. However, all these designers and magazines that are featuring Gray so much, have never lived in a basement. I would stay away from gray, instead use a gray based color such as SW Escape Gray that is a lovely green/gray and will be much more appealing as the trendy Gray will soon take a back seat to color choice.

**Q: How to design my lobby wall** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Which design suits my small lobby wall entry

A: OK, your cabinet is fine and the art object is beautiful, but needs to be placed off center. The art work should be at least 40-48 W X 36-48 H ,
Add new curtains in a softer pattern or solid color , that will go to floor
The white walls are off-putting and need to be warmed up, maybe a neutral like SW Kilim Beige
contact me if you need more help
