## Community Q&A

**Q: What color soapstone is the sink and countertops?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: This soapstone picture was attached to our HOUZZ page by someone we do not know.  Knowing the name of it is pretty difficult as there is such a variation in soapstone from one supplier to the next. There is a soapstone that we carry that is called Original PA, with minimal veining, but most suppliers name their own soapstone and sell it to fabricators such as Elegant Stone.
If you are in the market for soapstone, I would suggest using the Elegant Stone Products website materials page and use the suppliers listed there.  We have quite a few resources, Amsum & Ash, Cold Spring, Doral Stone, Midwest Specialty Products.  Their phone numbers are listed on our website.  We would recommend calling and making an appointment.  Thank you for your interest!

**Q: What is the granite on the island? I love it!** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: This stone is from a kitchen about 8 years ago, so there is a little uncertainty about the actual stone.  It is more than likely a lighter version of "Golden Crystal" which now has a more golden look now.  The other possibility is "Golden Aurora" which also now has a more golden look.  Both of these stones are on display on our lot around the building at Elegant Stone Products.
