While I was pleased with the final outcome of the project, I felt the communication could be improved drastically. When I signed the contract I requested a start date and was told they would let us know. After three weeks of not hearing from the designer I reached out to see if a start date had been determined. I was then informed they had forgotten to let us know the project would begin at 8 a.m. the next day. Since I had less than 24 hours notice I had to alter my work schedule at the last minute to be home to communicate with the contractors. On more than one occasion I had to contact the designer to find out what the next step was in the project and when contractors would be arriving at my house. In addition to the lack of communication, multiple times I inquired about transforming my wood burning fireplace into gas and was never given an answer. Before the project was completed I received an email from Terri asking if she could run the other half of the payment on my credit card.
